A Makoatl is a terrestrial hybrid that appears to be between a shark and a dragon. They have the powerful tails and jaws of a shark, and occasional horns like a dragon. They usually have manes that run down to their dorsal fin and a furred coat to keep out the cold in their native habitats. They live on a diet of mainly meat and fish and are known to be vicious hunters - specially when they are "frenzied"! Despite this attitude towards their prey, they are very protective to their offspring and to their own kind... usually.

He can withstand fire and extreme heat and can sometimes be seen living near volcanoes! He IS immortal. He may breed with another mako, but he can only have one child (no twins) and they will not have his immortality.
