Greetings, humans! .TARDIS here! I may or may not be completely and utterly obsessed with space, so I'll be shoving extras everywhere to win this darling today.
Name:
I'd like to name this gal Irregular, after an Irregular galaxy. The way her markings look just kind of remind me of them. An irregular galaxy is a young galaxy, much younger than the spiral or elliptical galaxies. They have almost no shape, stars just floating around wherever.
Gender:
She would be a female. I could easily see both ways, but she just struck me as a girl when I saw her.
Element:
I'd give her the earth element. Because planets, yo. Though planets, as shown in our own solar system, can also be made of various gasses, I always think of planets like our own terrestrial planets. Having a rocky or soil surface, and I like to think of them having life and plants all over. Though I know there probably aren't many planets like that, if any at all, but it's just a nice thought.
Physical attributes:
Like most earth-elements, Irregular is very lithe and quick. She's lighter than most others, but that only adds to her speed. She's not incredibly tall, though she likes to think she is bigger than someone put there. She is about three feet tall at the shoulder. Her stature is usually hunched over, head hung low, giving her the look as if she's about to pounce. She tends to look tense as well, though she really is relaxed most of the time. Her ears tend to be flat in a relaxed manner, something that usually looks odd against her usually tense look.
Personality:
Irregular is rather stubborn. She doesn't like to follow orders given by others, and tends to go her own way when suggested to follow a leader. She likes to make her own rules instead of submitting to others.
Irregular is very gentle. She can carry things that are incredibly fragile and keep them in top condition. She is careful around anything breakable, and seems even more tense when around such objects. This is mainly due to the fact that broken things often break into shards, and she is afraid of pain.
Irregular, though she doesn't show it unless necessary, is rather protective of those she cares about. She won't let any organism in the entire universe lay a hostile claw or paw... Or hand or whatever on anybody she cares about. That is, without them getting away intact.
Irregular is somewhat cold, despite her gentle and protective nature. Though she wants to protect others, she can sometimes be insensitive of their feelings and needs. She can be rather blunt with any animal she talks to and will never tell a white lie to any one, always giving the truth, no matter how brutal.
Likes:
✔ Irregular loves science. She's a big fan of space mostly, but she's also interested in nature things, like food chains and biology and the like.
✔Irregular likes light. She loves to make big, high-mass stars with her abilities to go along with her planets, and she really hates to see them explode. She never allows them to turn into black holes, however, as black holes destroy light.
✔Irregular likes peace and quiet. Ruckus is not her thing, and she never does well around it. She gets grumpy and rather snappish if she doesn't have silence to work in.
✔Irregular loves myths as well. She's made up quite a few, but she also likes to read ancient ones written by people like the Greeks. Her personal favorite is the story about Icarus flying up to the sun. She thinks it teaches a very valuable life lesson and has found it very likable for that reason.
Dislikes:
✖Irregular hates darkness. She's afraid of it, even. She does everything she can to make sure all of her little planets have plenty of light to thrive with.
✖Irregular dislikes suffering. She doesn't like her own suffering, and she doesn't like others suffering. She tries to help out anybody she can, though she sadly knows she can't help them all.
✖Irregular hates noise. She tends to get cranky when she doesn't have peace and quiet, and she'll go to nearly any extent to get a place quiet if it gets out of hand. Noise is also one of the reasons she prefers her massive stars not to erupt into supernovae.
Hobbies:
Irregular makes planets and stars for a hobby. And by planets I mean real planets, with life on some and with gas cores in others. The largest planet she's ever made came up to her ears. She named it Yallift and it is part of one of her two complete solar systems. Her stars are large, though not as muchly so as they would be compared to her planets. They're usually about twice the size of her, and they usually take about twice as long to form as the planets do. The planets, if not a life-bearing planet, take on average 2-6 days for her to make. If they do have life, they take 5-9 days. Irregular keeps all of her planets and stars in a very dark room that seems to span out forever like the universe. However, her two solar systems are located near the entrance, and she takes very good care of both of them.
Abilities:
Irregular can create planets and stars at will. She doesn't show anybody this little ability, though she would like to make one very close friend to show. She creates these planets for herself, and has made two solar systems from them. If she wants, she can create life on the planets. Her element makes her best at creating plants, but if she puts in enough effort she can create creatures. She loves her ability and wouldn't give it up for the universe.
Fears:
Algophobia- The fear of Pain. Irregular has always had a fear of pain, whether it be to herself or to another. She has been afraid of pain since she was young, and has never gotten rid of it.
Thanatophobia- The fear of dying. Irregular has always been scared of dying. She wouldn't want her solar systems to fall apart, and she knows they would if she ever did disappear. The mere fact of just not existing also terrifies her down to her very core.
Achluophobia- The fear of darkness. Irregular is also scared of darkness. Trivial, sure, but very true. She hates the darkness and thus floods her skies with stars, usually high mass. Though she makes sure they explode into good-quality supernovae so black holes, which eat light, don't form.
Chronophobia- The fear of time. Irregular has a fear of time, yes. She knows that as time goes by, even the universe must die. It is connected to her fear of death, so she hates it nearly as much. Though, this fear is unavoidable, which makes it that much worse.
Chronomentrpphobia- The fear of clocks. This is simply just because they're tied in nicely to her fear of time. She can't stand to look at clocks.
Zodiac:
'I'm the goddess of my planets. I get all the constellations!' Irregular considers herself to have all the constellations as her zodiac, as she has created her own for all of her planets. Though she does have an Earth zodiac, and that is Virgo, hence her somewhat cold yet caring nature.
Quirks/habits:
Irregular has a habit of always looking tense no matter what. Even if she's feeling peppy, she'll look like she's either nervous, it angrily tensed, maybe even both. She can't really help it, and it's been a habit for her most of her life.
Irregular also tends to pause between sentences, usually drawing out the last word more than needed. This makes her sentence fluency often sound very odd, and it tends to annoy the living daylight out of whoever she happens to be talking to.
Irregular also stresses the wrong syllables in words. For example, instead of
syllable, she would say syl
lable. She does it quite often, on quite a few of her spoken words. This, like her drawn-out words, often annoys other people. She doesn't care what they think, and doesn't even make an attempt to stop her quirks and habits.
