Why was he gelded? To improve his temperament, especially for the show ring (see below).
Personality: You probably want to know what he was like before he was gelded, don't you? The truth is he was highly unpredictable and quite hard to handle. Only a few people could ever handle him at one point and even they could come away battered and bruised! He was a highly dominant horse and would try to get his own way in any way possible. Attaching his lead rope to bring him in every night could take up to an hour. He'd toss his head and gallop all the way around the paddock, and the paddocks at Woodland Trax Stables are huge! Sometimes a stick would be need to bring him in at night: not to hurt him with, but just as a warning and/or something for him to bite instead of his handler's arm! He wasn't a bad horse, he just had a lot of testosterone. This worried me greatly, as I didn't want him to get vicious with any of my mares. I'd heard a few horror stories of dominant stallions taking chunks out of a mare's hindquarters. I wasn't about to risk my girls, even with Solomon's amazing bloodlines and good looks.

Since he was gelded, Somolon has become a real gentleman. He took a while to settle after his operation, but once he had and the testosterone levels reached a normal level, his true personality was revealed. He was a loveable softie, especially good with children. If I have one of my days off and I sit out in the paddocks with the horses with a book or a sketch pad, Solomon is always one of the first horses to investigate what I'm up to. Sure, he can still be a bit showy every now and then, but he is nowhere near as unpredictable as before. Besides, his showy side is perfect for his new career in the Show Ring! He's a brilliant horse and the stables wouldn't be without him! <3

What does he remind you of? Breyer Solomon (that Breyer I watched someone else buy from a distance for £1,250 TT^TT) all the way! o3o

Show Name: HWDH Aerospace
Barn Name: Aero
Gender: Gelding (2 Breedings Available)
Breed: Gypsy Vanner
Height: 15.1 hands
Color: Dappled Palomino
Markings: Blaze, dapples
Genes: e/e, A/a, Cr/cr

Why was he gelded? Aero was gelded specifically for showing. We guess he wasn't too into the concept of breeding, but he never settled a mare.
Personality: Aerospace is a very gentle gelding and very quiet. He can have his amusing and funny moments, but is the sweetest and most astounding horse anyone could ask for. He is very gentle with kids, which I am very thankful for. He is our first adoptable, and I am very happy to choose him to try and be our first.
What does he remind you of? Aero reminds me of quite a few things. He reminds me of peace and hope, his personality keeps that in the back of my mind. His color just simply reminds me of caramel, nothing really to be stated there, seeing as it is self explanatory.

(Keep in mind this is my first adoptable, sorry if it's rough...)

vinyl of gold

Show Name: vinyl of gold
Barn Name: nugget
Gender: Gelding (2 Breedings Available)
Breed: Gypsy Vanner
Height: 15.1 hands
Color: Dappled Palomino
Markings: Blaze, dapples
Genes: e/e, A/a, Cr/cr

Why was he gelded? vinyl of gold was gelded so that he had a calmer demeanor and became better- behaved. it made him quieter, gentler and potentially more suitable as an everyday working horse.
Personality: nugget is an easily control sorren. he doesn't have conflicts with the domesticated herds in the pastures and is overall a gentle boy. he is very tractable or easily influenced. being gelded he is extremely docile making him easier to work with and a better work horse at that. his attention remains on you during training, his focus is always on his work being a very loyal and trustworthy horse.
What does he remind you of? this gelding reminds me of a large cuddly teddy bear because he is a very gentle horse and very loving in a sense he keeps his focus on his owner and not mares. he's a large horses but is not as scary as someone could view him as.

Why Was He Gelded?
Bullion was gelded simply because he was much to wild for anyone at Cottonwood to handle. He was much too crazy to be controlled, and this could later prove to be bad for someone's health. So the decision was made, and he became much more calm. So calm that everyone began to question whether this was the same horse that nearly crushed them last time they had seen him. Turns out he had the potential to be everyone's best friend all along, and does enjoy pulling a wagon of hay for all the children who visit the Western Shows. Even Bullion finds the spectacle fun to watch for some reason.
Personality
After he was gelded, Bullion became very fun and easy horse to be around. The only thing on his agenda is finding treats and causing some minor mischief. It also seems he's been getting pointers from his good friend, Houdini, because he's learned to open the stall doors. Occasionally when he's bored he'll let himself and a few other horses out to run around for a bit. However he only seems to let the ones out he knows won't stray very far, or won't leave their stalls at all. Obviously he's quite intelligent, and though he can't speak to the people around the stable they imagine he'd be the type to join in unannounced to their conversations and contribute his own thoughts....He already does do this, but usually he's begging for a sugar cube.
What Does He Remind You Of?
Gold Bullion. That's where his name comes from. I read the part about him almost being a Western Pleasure horse before he became a Vanner and I just thought of some bandits pulling off a heist and....Yeah, you know how my thought process is by now. X3

this life is so simple yet so complicated...
that it makes people want to leave this earth.
with their bodies as our only remainder and our
memories a broken mirror of the past.

i know you don't remember... but this,
this place, this riverbank, this broken memory.
this is one of the pieces of you that you miss.
    this is my broken bliss.

your name is etched into me.
    i am your walking tribute.
a walking scrapbook if you please,
    filled with broken memories.

    i will always be,
    remembering you.
    remembering cooper.
