Personality: Ultima is a lass full of energy. She is hard to handle and the ultimate challenge for a rider. She has shown this behavior ever since she was weaned from her mother. If something isn't working out she starts to do it in a different way, but everything has to be like she wants to have it. It is hard to acquire her respect and if you get it you still have to work, because you will lose that respect otherwise. Ultima wants to be everything and even more, she is unhappy when she is playing the second fiddle. That's when Raphael came in. It is that sweet little guys work and admiration for Ultima that we are even able to work with her. He keeps her company and gives her a good mood. Seperating the two of them wouldn't only result in a heartbreaking situation, but also make Ultima unmanageable.

Once upon a time, a filly was born. Almost Blood Bay in color, with a white ring around one of her eyes. One eye? Only later the blood :History mark should develop, leaving a beautiful reddish color on her otherwise fleabitten grey coat. But back to the night when she was born. Her mother, an experienced mare called Snow White, had an easy start with her. Her foalhood wasn't exactly spectacular, she grew up with her caring mother and some other foals to play with. But she showed her stubborn side from the beginning. When she was weaned from her mother, Ultima freaked out. That's when she was first called Ultima, ultimate, a little princess that wanted to rule her own world.
Snow White was used to the hole thing and let go of her daughter easily. That seemed to make princess Ultima even more upset. She started to kick around and was a pain to train. One day a little goat came to the pasture where Ultima was grazing. Ultima easily befriended little Raphael and her trainer noticed how much he calmed her down. Actually he could mount her for the first time without being bitten by her.
After several months, she was sold then without Raphael, but due to her attitude, she eventually came to Cottonwood. Stablehands and trainers at Cottonwood noticed how unhappy Princess Ultima was, and were hardly able to work with her. They contacted her breeder and were able to buy Raphael for Ultima. Reunited, Ultima got calmer once again and turned out to be quite easy to work with when the right strings were pulled. Now she's looking for her forever home, possibly having some more surprises for her new owner?

Never seeming to run out of things to say, she likes to have the last word in an argument or talk people's ears off. Bo acts like a child, and loves to surround herself with friends. It seems as though this mare is never alone. Her best friend being a lamb, she has learned to be nurturing and gentle when needed. Her personality changes with the mood of the situation or her own mood. Having multiple facets to her persona, Bo is often found hard to deal with at times. She can be impatient and impudent, but on normal, routine days she is laid-back and easy-going. Little Bo Peep loves to laugh and make others laugh. Her world is constantly turning, and she is constantly running around, just wanting to live her life to the fullest and make herself and others happy.
Design a Halter: Little Bo Peep has a pastel green, beaded halter. It has green, silver, and white beads, in a pattern similar to this. It has an attachable, circular golden tag with "Little Bo Peep" carved into it. To appropriately match such a halter, LBP has a pastel green lead rope attached. She feels no need to have an overly flashy design, and enjoys her beaded halter.

Story Of Their Friendship:
What an unlikely pair! Ever since the beginning of their story, they have been inseparable.
Little Bo Peep and Roosevelt met when Roosevelt was a baby and Bo Peep was younger and a silly filly. A young ewe had just had her lamb. Roosevelt, upon the first few days, managed to slip out of his pen and get into the pasture. Little Bo Peep and some other fillies were wandering around the pasture when the cute creature surprised them. Bo Peep was the first to walk up to the smaller animal, snorting and leaning down to see him. Roosevelt jumped up, touching Bo Peep's muzzle.
"You look funny. You aren't like me." He said in a squeaky, young voice.
"Well you don't look like me!" Bo Peep replied simply.
Roosevelt grinned at her. "My mother wouldn't like me being out here." He declared.
"I don't think you want to go back to her?" Little Bo Peep raised her eyebrows as Roosevelt shook his head vigorously. "Then let's play."
Roosevelt could hardly contain himself. He bounced off, frolicking through the pasture. Bo Peep followed without another word, a grin painted across her face. The establishment of their friendship kind of went without saying. It just happened, just as an unspoken agreement. Roosevelt and Bo Peep were always together from that day forth, and after feeble attempts to keep Roosevelt in, their owner finally gave up and let him go out with the horses to be with his best friend.

The First Year
Little Bo Peep and Roosevelt's first argument seemed petty, but it sure wasn't to them! LBP was off chatting with Turbo, one of the first times they had corresponded. Roosevelt watched from after, looking sulky and dejected. Finally, after what seemed like a wasted day, Bo trotted to Roosevelt with a grin spread across her face.
"Ro!" She called to him.
"Done with your boyfriend?" He fired. Such a small little lamb could hold quite a bit of frustration.
Little Bo Peep gave him an odd look. "What's wrong with you? Wake up on the wrong side of the bed?"
"Why were you talking to him?"
"Turbo? Because he's nice." She laughed.
"You neglected me!" He said, almost whiny.
"So I can't hang out with someone else just because you're jealous?"
Roosevelt was taken aback, looking offended and denial. "I-I am not jealous!
"You so are!" She almost laughed.
"Stop laughing! I don't know why I like you you're...you're a meany!" Ro screamed, acting extremely childish.
Bo rolled her eyes. "Oh, whatever. You know you love me."
Roosevelt stormed off, angry because he thought Bo ignored his problems and ignored him because he was small, and quite frankly he was very jealous. This period of silence lasted less than an hour, as Ro and Bo were back frolicking and enjoying the day, smiling and laughing. They had clearly made up, but it was as though they decided to let the problem slip away, silently agreed they were both being ridiculous.

These two will be friends 'til the end. They are inseparable, and have been since that very day. Every now and then you'll see a certain flare enter their eyes when the waters get heated, but they have never had a fight that lasted more than a day. They both know nothing can break them apart. Friendship is forever.

Personality: Lena is a rather sweet and gentle, caring sort of soul. With her lamby girl Pepper, she is kind, loving, and full of gentility. She likes to cuddle up with her in the quiet hours and look at the stars, or to rest and relax with the little girl. She also likes foals and hopes to have her own someday.
Design a Halter: It would have to be a lovely sky blue thing, with a design like tiny clouds, a miniature golden sun, and some v shapes like black birds way up in the sky. Also, the nose band would have a small soft plate that said Lena embroidered into it.

Roosevelt's Laughter, or Lena as this lovely and sweet mare is known to us here at the ranch, first met the little black and white lamb that came to be named Pepper on a rather windy and stormy sort of night. She was out in the field when the storm began to blow in, so we had to hurry and get she and all of the others into the barn for the rest of the night, it would not do to have them out there in the middle of a raging storm filled with lightning strikes and thunder loud enough to spook even the most hardened elders in the herd. When we had gotten the herd all back into the two small barns we had, as the herd seemed to just keep growing and growing, the lovely fleabitten gray mare appeared to have heard something, for she flickered her ears and craned her neck round towards an empty stall at the end of the block too small for any of the horses here, it had been meant for ponies and I realized then that it was where our female sheep Zella was at. I wondered what was going on, and allowed the mare to lead on to the stall turned bed. I tilted my head as I saw that there by the side of our pretty gray and white ewe, was a lamb as spotty as her mother, for she must be Zella's little one, only her spots were all in black. As Lena pushed into the stall with just her head to nuzzle the little one, and Zella seemed to fully trust this, I could not help the smile upon my lips as the little lamb whom had to be at least a week old by now came forward a bit to nose back at the mare. I had no idea how Zella managed to hide the little one from us, but ever since that day she has been the ever constant companion of the mare Lena.
Speculative questions about the new one on the way: Could it be a boyfriend? Could it be a new lamb? Could it be a foal? Could it be a puppy? Whom knows, but whatever it may be, it's sure they will have fun with him or her!

Inspiration: My inspiration for the name Roosevelt's Laughter is that she looks like the kind of mare whom could make anybody happy, and she could be quite the horse for Mr. Roosevelt himself, she's a fine lady after all. Inspiration for the name of Pepper of course had to be her coat color, so much like pepper. Inspiration for the halter came from the fact she has such a sunny blue skies kind of personality, Lena I mean.
