Welcome to the Petal Wolves Easter Event! This event will be running from April 6th to April 30th.
You wander along through the forest, with your binoculars in your hand. You came here in the forest searching for Petal Wolves. As you walk along, you notice a low branch, just a few inches above your eye level. On the sturdy tree branch sits a nest with a green speckled egg in it. What is this...? You stand on the tips of your toes and stare at the egg in awe. It has little green wings sticking out of it. But what is this egg? The wings look unmistakably like Petal Wolf wings, but PWs are mammals! They don't lay eggs! You shake your head and keep moving, but you keep seeing more nests with similar eggs placed delicately on low branches. Suddenly, you hear rustling about 15-20 feet off. You pull your binoculars to your eyes, and see a Petal Wolf. Finally! But as you near the PW, you notice that its hovering next to a branch, tending to an egg in a nest. So it is a Petal Wolf egg... but how?! After your exploration, you head home and research the PW eggs, looking for an explanation. You find out that every April, Petal Wolves start to lay eggs. The eggs don't hatch until May 1st, but are Petal Wolves sure enough. On May 1st, Petal Wolves also stop laying eggs. Better make the best of this special event!
--PPP means Permanent Petal Pup - PPP eggs never hatch
--HH means Half Hatchling - HH eggs only hatch haflway (i.e. only the legs will hatch)
Please read everything artists, this is REALLY important!!
Artists - You are free to be as creative as you would like with designing eggs! If you would like, you can even make the eggs PPP's (Permanent Petal Pups) or HHs (Half Hatchlings). Incase you dont know, PPPs will always be the egg - never hatch. HHs only hatch halfway - ex. Only their legs will come out, or only their head, etc. I will create HH lines soon. The same rules apply as regular Petal Wolves, but instead of you have to do 1 PW every week, you have to do 1 PW every 2 weeks. On May 1st, please 'hatch' the eggs that you have made. I recommend pre-hatching (already making the hatched PW), and just keeping them invisible until May. I expect all eggs to be hatched within the first week of May.
