Hi there, I'm guessing that you're here to look at these beautiful dreamcatcher horses?
Well, that's great! I'm glad for that!

Dreamcatcher horses are horses which have been around since human records began, these particular horses weren't assigned to their owner correctly. They were supposed to be assigned to a human once they were born but sometimes things don't work correctly.

You don't know what a dream catcher horse is?
Wait, that must mean you don't have one! Let me tell you all about them!

- Dreamcatchers are a tiny breed of horse; they only reach 30cm at full height, and the males tend to be taller.

- When a human child is born, a dreamcatcher is also born, no-one quite knows how because they are not truly assigned to their human until they are five - As an untrained foal would be useless fighting against a nightmare and most children are too innocent to begin having nightmares any earlier.

- The mane, tail and eye nebula are made of dreams. Good dreams.

- Because they are so light they are able to float through the air.

- A dreamcatcher stallion often gives a mare jewellery for their horns to show they love them.

- The dreamcatcher mares have an eye nebula, while the males don't.

- They will stay with you until you die, but once you die their symbiotic bond with you is severed and they also pass on, to "The Dream World" - The Dream World is where they get their rest from nightmares, a reward for fighting nightmares, some may even call it an eternal slumber.

Also, artists, be aware;

✔ Stallions tend not to have horn jewellery either because they have at one point had and given it away/not ever had horn jewellery however it is not impossible for the stallions to not have jewellery.
✔ The manes also tend to be one colour or different shades of it... However, it's not uncommon for them to be multiple colours
✔ To make them unique; you are allowed to add rarer/unnatural markings but the base coat has to be natural.
✔ Line edits are OK as long as you ask first!
✔ You may make customs; but you should ask me first.
✔ You are allowed to make your own BG's or whatever!

✗ Stallions do not have the eye nebulae. {The bit which flows out of the back of the eye.}
✗ They are almost never black -- because that is what the nightmares are; they are good, so are lighter colours. The closest they ever get to black is a dark grey and even that is extremely rare.

Hi guys,

I just wanted to make a post saying that the Dreamcatchers are back
and my hiatus is not quite over.
I will still be online, hovering around the thread - and making sure all
is well, occasionally posting some horses for adoption.
In the meantime however, Dizzy socks will be helping out and will be the
semi-permanent owner until I return from my hiatus.


And I wanted to say that we're open - to the artists I asked to reserve a
place but who didn't get a chance, don't worry about it, I'm just in a bit
of a rush to open! ^^
