Tessa and Caramel peered into the shop windows. "Wow, look at all that candy!" Tessa exclaimed. "I wish I could get some!"
"Too bad your mom took away your allowance," Caramel said. She was in the need of candy too. "I forgot to bring my money, but it wasn't much anyway."
"Oh, man," said Tessa, clearly knowing she was beyond the hope of being pried away from the windows. "Look at that caramel."
"Look at what?" asked Caramel.
"The caramel!"
"Oh, wow!"
It was almost perfect. The cleanly cut chunks of chewy goodness, the light brown color, even the packaging was flawless. Both the girl drooled.
"I really wish I could have some of that caramel," Tessa and Caramel said together.
