Personality: Anna is quite like her Disney princess counterpart. As a foal she was hand-raised by her handlers after her mother was taken ill and rendered unable to care for her properly. Unfortunately, though it saved her life, it's meant that her social skills among her fellow horses are not the best. She's always trying to fit in to the rest of my herd, but her overly-zealous personality can either be viewed as strange or annoying by the other horses, who often leave her isolated or give her a warning nip. I've often tried to separate her from the rest of the horses, but this deeply upsets her, sending her into a frenzy. Even with my knowledge of horse behaviour, I'm not sure how I can help her to fit in more easily. The main reason I took her in was to try and combat this slight social problem and she is getting there, but the process is very slow and we're managing it in baby steps.

However, there is one pony, however, who seems to accept her more readily: my little Olaf. He is even more wacky than she is, but because of his small size the other horses tend to ignore him and aren't quite as aggressive towards him. They'll often by grooming each other and playing chasing games around the paddock. Both of them seem have bonded extremely well due to their naïve and sweet dispositions, which is definitely helping her to feel more relaxed in the herd. One things for sure: she's certainly a gem in my herd!

Personality: This mare is quite a bit like the Disney princess she is based from. Anna is a free-spirited, fearless mare. She has endless optimism, and tends to keep an open mind. This mare is playful and clumsy, even awkward at times. Anna is extremely talkative, and often blabbers. Her social skills are not the best, as for the earlier parts of her life she lived more seclusively with little contact of other horses. She is quirky and silly, always excellent at making people laugh. This mare is boisterous and bold, and tends to be off chasing some dream or going on an adventure. Anna is quite the feisty-pants [her most common nickname around the barn is indeed "Feisty Pants"] and is NOT one to be walked all over. If you can't tell, this mare is very opinionated. She is intelligent as well, and quick to think up solutions. Her solutions may seem crazy or illogical, but usually work out in the end. Beneath her almost filly-like attitude, though, Anna is warm and loving. She would do a lot for family and friends, sometimes even strangers. This mare is selfless, and would die for someone. Even a frozen heart could not quash her nature of putting others needs before her own.

I feel like this is just perfect. I think of Anna as a go-getter gal, and one of those people who are nearly always peppy and excited. They seem to have no worries or burdens and life, and are fearless. Plus, she lives in the moment and doesn't worry about the past or what may stand before them.

She wouldn't think twice about defending those who she cares about, being it her owner or pasture buddies. She can often get too clingy, however, and will stand and block the entrance to the field if it means she gets to stay with her herd mates. This can be good and bad, if an inexperienced or rude human tries to come in, it could save a horse an injury or a bad day. However, if she sees someone she cared for being loaded into a trailer or just leaving the stables' premises, she could do some dangerous act.
