26.7.2013 : First Sighting

A strange breed of creatures has been discovered living in valleys between small mountains and in forests near these areas. They have fluffy, soft fur, and, as strange as it seems, balloons for tails. They seem to be closely related to domestic and wild felines, and possess many of their traits, such as being very agile yet laid-back creatures. They are the same size as an adult domestic cat, maybe a bit smaller. They are born like most mammals, and drink their mother's milk until they are old enough to eat solid foods. "Baloos", as we have decided to call them, seem to be quite friendly towards humans, however they are very protective over their tails. Their tails seem to glow a bit, and we have assumed that they help the creatures sustain life. Every baloo that we have seen have at least one of these tails, and a few have two. They seem to be good swimmers, yet seem to be reluctant to let their tails enter the water.

Cora is an extremely happy Baloo. Never seen without a smile on her face. Also happens to be very caring, and is quick to jump up and help someone out. Accepting, and happens to loving making new friends. She's quite a chatter box. Which tends to annoying people to a point, but she could care less.

cheeky, contrary to his name, is a thinker and speaks with the barest minimum of words and so quiet his slight high voice sounds like the whisper of the wind.

[introverted]

cheeky hates being in a group! he would much rather curl up in a tree, with the birds singing softly around him, than go to a wild party where the music's so loud you can feel it.

[kind]

no charity takes too much time or is too hard for cheeky! as long as he doesn't have to talk to strangers, he would do anything to help someone get out of a bind.

[sweet]

if you knew cheeky, you'd say he's the most pleasing young man you've ever known. nothing, not even pure sugar, is sweeter than cheeky the baloo!

[young at mind]

cheeky will always act like a three-year-old; clingy, shy, dependant, and carefree. you can't breed that out of him, although many have tried. he just won't change.
