Finned otters were created as a scientific experiment: Project River Wolf. The goal was to create a species that could be used to guard bodies of water in the same way people have guard dogs. This resulted in a species of otter that was physically similar to a sea otter, but had much of the mentality of a giant otter and was larger than both. Due to the variety of genes used they developed abnormalities including horns on males, razor-sharp dorsal fins, and odd pelt colours. The project was deemed a failure as the species retained their fun-loving spirit and ultimately failed in their guardian role

Personality:
Crow is brash, antisocial and fierce. He often finds it hard to
talk to others, and rarely cares about anything. He doesn't let
others sway his opinions and dislikes when things don't go his way.
It takes a lot to shock him and he is a bit rough around the edges.

Personality: Diabolos is quite brash, acting on impulse rather than giving thought to a situation. He's hot-tempered, bold, and easily riled up. Diabolos has endless amounts of energy and a sharp tongue to match. He enjoys working out and learning about the arts of combat, but he also has a softer side. He enjoys good poetry, and sometimes tries to write it himself, and can sometimes be seen admiring the beauty of nature. Overall, he's a complex individual.

Copia looks rough and mean but he is a real nice fella. Many will take a look at him and be scared, what's to be feared if nothing is scary ? He is a lady-wooer ; or tries to be. His fierceness gives him an advantage with protection because other animals including finned otters are scared so they won't bug him but really . . He's a lonely fella wanting a friend or two. So. . Could you look past his outsides and see his soft heart ?
