I love myself a good old oak tree. But not the generic, prefect-branches, leaves-covering-everything-but-the-trunk oak tree, I love the gnarled, twisted, and absolutely free oak tree.

I do love oak trees, but my favorite trees have to be the Japanese Maple! When the sun shines through the leaves of the Japanese Maple, the light underneath turns red and the leaves seem to glow!
