Name:
I'm a Fighter, a Survivor "Gahege"
Name Meaning:
"Gahege" is a native american name for "chief." I feel like this suits him quite well, and I will tell you why. I plan to adopt many adoptables at Radohha Stables [love the lines], create somewhat of a herd. Time, my mare, and this guy [if I can win him] will be lead mare and stallion. So I feel as though this will be a perfect name for him!
Gender:
Stallion
Age:
Five Years
Height:
15.9 hh
Personality:
Gahege has always been a fierce, protective stallion. He will always keep who and what he loves close, and is extremely loyal. This stallion has always been a leader, an intelligent and patient one. His name, meaning "chief" gives him great pride and suits him rather well. From the day he was born, Gahege was an independent, energized horse. He has kept those very traits with him a long time. He is loving, but can be stern at times. When he has an opinion, he sticks with it and is rather immobile in his decision. Gahege likes to make sure that his fellow herdmates know their place, as well as his. He is a fair stallion with ideas that could fill five pages. This guy has always been brutally honest, and is pretty much an open book. His personality is a tornado of many aspects.
Other:
His everlasting love will be for this beautiful mare of mine, Time.

This guy has always been brutally honest, and is pretty much an open book. His personality is a tornado of many aspects.
History:
When Gahege was young, no more then an innocent, curious colt, Equine Herpes Virus put him on his deathbed. The man of his ranch just shook his head with a dejected look, watching the young foal lay in the pasture, writhing about. Vet visit after vet visit, antibiotic after antibiotic, nothing seemed to do much better. Gahege was even taken across the state to a better hospital to attempt to save him. That was the key. They treated him with a powerful medicine, and then kept him in intensive care for two weeks. By the time the sickness had passed, he was strutting around the pasture once more.
As he grew, his decided discipline was show jumping, and he began to practice day after day. When he turned three and a half, he competed in his first event and won a second-place ribbon and a small check. The stallion had a couple more minor bouts of the Equine Herpes Virus, but as he was older and stronger, he could fight it off.
Since he was three and a half, the Gahege has competed in many shows, nearly twenty shows by now. He has won first seven times, gotten a second or third five times, and missed the top three eight times. He is a fighter, a survivor.
Story:
[This is about Gahege's romance with Time x3]
[Gahege's P.O.V.]
I saw her from across the field, and couldn't tear my eyes away. My hooves felt like they were in quicksand, unable to get out. My throat became dry when I realized that she was coming this way. I had liked Time for a while now, but I could never speak to her about it. What kind of lead stallion am I? I can protect my herd, yet not talk to one silly mare?
"Good morning, Gahege." Her melodious voice interrupted my thoughts. I couldn't help but jump slightly.
I stuttered a bit, then finally whinnied in reply. "Mornin' Time." Did she just blush? I wondered briefly, staring at her flawless, shiny coat similar to mine.
Before I could speak, Time stretched her neck forwards and nuzzled me, then pulled back. "I like you too, Gahege." The mare neighed.
She knows? My gaze was panicked momentarily, but when the words truly sank in, I wanted to jump around and cheer. "I-I...you're beautiful Time. I love everything about you, I do. I don't have the guts to say it though." The words started to spill from my mouth, and when I gulped in fresh air and got ready to speak again, Time nuzzled me once more.
"I understand, I do." Suddenly, her eyes had a playful spark in them. "Catch me if you can!" Whipping around, the mare shot off.
I threw my head up and charged after her.
[Time's P.O.V]
Of course I had been scared to say it. I was scared to do anything. But when I started talking, the words felt natural. Gahege and I had been together at a young age, and we were best friends. But the older we got, the more the mutual feeling became a flutter of love. I couldn't help but daydream at times. So here I was, rocketing away from the stallion I loved in a game we had played since we were kids. I felt a sharp, yet gentle tug on my tell, and flopped to the ground. Gahege nearly toppled onto me, but he flopped down just inches away. I knew the other horses were staring by now, but it's not like it mattered anymore.
"I love you." We neighed in unison. I turned, blushing suddenly, and I realized that Gahege was doing the same thing. I will always love you.
*-*-*
It has been nearly two years since our confessions to each other, and I now have slipped into the position of lead mare. The herd was overjoyed to hear the news, and always enjoy our company. I have devoted my undying love all to Gahege, and we are rather committed. We spend hours playing our tag game, acting like annoying foals, definitely not leaders. In the end we always get jobs done, and the herd has never been neglected. I have always told myself the same thing each year, and I will say it again. I will always love you.
