Fine harness:
Horses are hitched to a light cart and shown in a manner that emphasizes flashy action and dramatic performance. Refined pony breeds and certain light saddle horse breeds noted for their action are most often seen in fine harness. Most fine harness competition requires horses to perform a bit of a walk, and two types of a high-action "park" trot, a slow trot with more controlled but elegant action, and a faster, flashier trot where the horse exhibits the most animation possible, often announced by the command "show your horses".

Here you enter your fine horse classes. To enter just do your story/art of your class. The more you do the more you can get judged on and more chances to get more points but its also more you have to do before the deadline.

The cart jerked along the rocky road. I had been training Snowy for a while now, but my mare still was not used to the harness she wore. We had had a terrible training day just yesterday, and Snowy had nearly snapped her harness from getting spooked. The Akhal-Teke was used to doing dressage, and certainly not this. I didn't think she was ready quite yet for this big and important of a competition, but I needed the money. Ice Kingdom had to win. We had worked out an elaborate pattern to do, and my mare's stance was nearly perfect. Yet yesterday, if we had been competing, we would have lost miserably.
"Come on, Snowy. You can do it." We had finished our warm-up, and would be up just after the current entrant. I couldn't bare to think of everything that could go wrong, and we pulled our cart to the entrance gate just as the cart-rider pulled up to the middle to find her score. I listened intently, and I knew it would be a hard score to beat. It was the best yet. My heart flopped a bit, and I felt its beat quicken abnormally as the contestant left the arena.
The announcer's voice boomed over the intercom, but I was so focused I barely heard it. "Ice Kingdom is up next for the Fine Horse Class." We entered the arena with an elegant air.

[Snowy's P.O.V.]
I don't like this harness. Why would she put me in this? I don't want to compete! I had been shifting in the leather harness the whole way to the arena. I knew better then to do that when we entered the arena, though. Finally accepting the unusual tack with a snort of disdain, I straightened my posture as we started into the arena. It was our turn!
My blood raced along with my heart. My feet twitched, wanting to run and rear. I kept these compulsions to myself though, and listened to my controller's unsteady breathing and soft talking.
"Com'on, Snowy. You can do it." I raised my head even higher then, and from the corner of my eye I could see the judges taking careful notes. Their sharp eyes burned into me, dissecting my every movement. My owner seemed calmer now, more normal. My well-groomed, cremello coat shone in the light. My girl had spent hours on it this morning. It made me hold my head with pride. I could sense her calming, slowly her heartbeat. Mine came in sync with hers, and my pace quickened as she softly asked me to. We rode without problem, my compulsions and flustered attitude disappearing.
It only seemed like a minute for the whole thing. Then our pattern was finished. As I made my way to the center, being turned sharply and tugging the light cart with me, the announcer and judges spoke together. My ears roaring, the announcer's booming voice returned, and my heart skipped a beat.

I too wanted to just get out of there. I saw Snowy's twitchy attitude, and mentally urged her to stay calm. What seemed like a lifetime later, the mare stopped. We were doing it! We were driving! I realized that Ice Kingdom could sense my emotions. I was too excited. I calmed myself. My sequined shirt reflected off of the silvery metal on the cart, and I focused on the sparkling. I instinctively turned and spun in the pattern, and marveled at how Snowy did all the activities without any backlash.
Anticipation filled me as our pattern ended, and everything seemed like it was in slow motion as we came to the middle to here the score. People around slowly jumped up and down, and I could hear them cheering. This was it. Would we make it?
We finally halted, and I stared not at anything else then my mare. She didn't turn, just stood like one so regal should. Where did this great attitude come from?
"Ice Kingdom, you have received a..." All the noises faded. The announcer's was the only thing I heard. Snowy seemed just as intense, the cremello Akhal-Teke's blue eyes sparkling and staring at the booth. The score...it is... I felt as though time was frozen. The announcer's voice drew out the score boringly. I listened and nearly whined with anticipation. We did it. Snowy and I.
