Very very old; she has been around as long as children have been afraid of the dark.

~The stars only come out when it's dark~
Background Story:
She cannot remember how old she is; she was thought up by possibly the first child. She is the fear of the dark ~ the stars only come out in the dark. She does not understand; she is not dark. Stars are tiny beacons of light in that darkness. Unfortunately, the children only see the darkness. Why only children? She loves children, and is hoping someday she will find one who is not afraid of her. She had become discouraged, and as of late has taken to enjoying frightening younger children.
