A Nectoralia is a rodent-like mammal that is very energetic, social and friendly. They are unlike any other mammal, however. This is because of the fact that they have a stem to a plant that protrudes from the back of the head, travels down their back as a spine, hangs down like a tail, and has a type of flower or plant at the end of the tail. This is a feature present in all Nectoralia because this is one of their main sources of energy. With this tail, they can use photosynthesis to collect energy, and they are able to use the nectar from one's own tail to make their own honey to eat. Nectoralia are generally timid and reserved around humans, but once they warm up to you, they can be your friend for life. Can you gain the affection of a Nectoralia?

This boy is in fact fully nocturnal. he is long-furred, and you never see his flower open because he is only out at night, when nectoralia flowers close up and glow. So, this is the state you will see his flower in most times. when it opens, it is just a blue daisy flower.

Why does he only come out at night?;

Asher only comes out at night because his eyes are very different and sensitive. During the day I Asher were to be out he would be a partially blind sitting duck. Asher adapted to the night to find better food and it's also collet and there are less predators. He can also only see at night, since he adapted his eyes are accustomed to absorbing more light so that Asher has flawless sight at night. That also means the if he ever goes out in the light and opens his eye there will be a sensory overload and he will be permanently blinded.
