A Foxerfly is a fox-like creature that is rather small. They are about the size of the average house cat. Their very unique feature is the pair of wings on their back that allows them to fly unlike any other four-legged being. There are three different types of wings of a Foxerfly that resemble wings of insects.
Butterfly
Dragonfly and
Bee
Occassionally their wings will be different to others, but it is rare in the average Foxerfly. Their diet consists of everything a normal fox would eat; berries, eggs, small rodents, fruit, and they may chew on various crops. They are shy and extremely secretive among creatures of different kinds, so they are not seen often.
They are super friendly and adorably lovable, so give them all your love and lots of cuddles!
Be nice to your Foxerfly; they will only choose the one right for them.

Meet Foxerfly #54, the first of the set of Halloween babies. She/she is all stitched up, and are they... tear stains?
I was actually scared crapless the entire time I drew this, I am a wimp and this concept just... asdfghjkl *shudders*
So tell me; why are they like this? Stitched, silent and crying? I need you guys to scare the hell out of me with this, and it should be easy, as I am really shivery with this sort of theme. This is judged on mainly how scary you can get, but please add as much detail and prettying your form as you can. <3

Username: Butter beer, nice to meet you! I am a current foxer-fly nonowner, waiting to win my very own foxerfly! I currently own 2 doughnuters, and a deerssert. I fell in love with the species awhile ago, and have been waiting for a special foxer-fly. And this one is perfect!

Name Reason: I choose this name because she it all sewn and patched together! Sewing is also very important to my culture. When I was little, I also remembered my mum sewing all the time, even sewing a few dresses and socks for me!
Nicknames: Stitch, Stitchy, Patches

Favorite Food: Stitches is an abnormal foxerfly, she doesn't do normal things. She eats a diet of marbles and beads. But her favorite food is tribal designed beads.
Favorite Beverage: Stitches doesn't have to need to drink. She doesn't have a favorite beverage, sorry.

Favorite Song: All Shook Up, Elvis Presley. She loves the swanky feel of the song.
Favorite Activity: Stitches loves to sew, knit and weave! She is quite the crafter. She makes sweaters for all the other foxerflies for Christmas!
Favorite Keepsake Item: Stitches keeps only one item close to her heart.... A jar. A jar filled with marvelous buttons. Crazy buttons, bright buttons, flower buttons, animal buttons and lots more! This is special to her, since she is all thread and fabrics, she has collected these buttons for since she was only 2. It's very important to her.
Favorite Piece of Work: Stitches favorite piece of work is the dress she made. This is what it looks like.

}In Greek, Obelia means 'needle'

Backstory:

..Hatred..Depression..Hurt..
Those three words ran through Obelia's mind as she raced back to her den. Tears streamed down her brown muzzle. Other Foxerflies had been making fun of her because of her charm and talent. Her talent was sewing and her charm was a needle. The insults had not gotten to her till now. Racing in to her room, the door slamming behind her, Obelia quickly grabbed a needle, some buttons and some pieces of fabric. Sitting on her bed, she started sewing the pieces of fabric to herself. She kept crying, but did not scream. Pain seared through her as she sewed the fabrics of her beautiful brownish pelt. After she was finished, the sewed one of her wings. That caused her to flinch, the pain was horrible now, She sobbed from it, glad her parents were not home. She than grabbed the buttons, sewing them over her eyes, which caused her to scream loudly. Obelia could still see, but through 4 holes on each eye. To her own horror, she even sewed her mouth shut. Trembling, she collapsed from the pain
When she woke up days later, she was in the hospital. Her parents staring mortified at her. Tears streaks had stained her cheeks. She lifted her head, staring at her parents. The doctor had said he could not have removed anything she had done to herself because she would die from the blood loss.. Obelia had dropped out of school for what she had done. She realized she had did it on the worst of days....

Thread used to be a good looking and handsome Foxerfly and his name wasn't always Thread. His name was Dearth, his fur was a gorgeous silky brown color mixed with tans and whites. Thread's eye color was a greenish blue, and he hadn't found his talent just yet. He always dazzled the ladies, though he had no intentions of getting with them, he thought he wasn't ready for a relationship yet. One day another Foxerfly had came to him confessing that she was deeply in love with him but he rejected her, being hurt and upset, she told Thread, Dearth at the time, that he'd pay.

Thread shrugged off her threat and continued on with his day, come night time he went back to his den and lied down to get rest, but he had a rude awakening. He woke up, not in his den but somewhere deep in a dark cave. Thread heard chanting echoing off the walls of the cave, it was eerie and he wanted to try and find the exit but he was such a curious foxerfly and he went to inspect the chanting, following it he came upon a frightening scene. Another foxerfly, a female by the voice, was looming over a cauldron and she dropped what looked to be hair and a doll inside the brewing mixture. A big puff of smoke emerged from the substance in the cauldron, fear ripping through Thread he went to turn and run but his paw slipped on a rock and he alerted the foxerfly at the cauldron.

A cackle was emitted from her throat, "You've met a terrible fate." and with that she said a few more words that Thread didn't understand, but then he was in immense pain and he fainted from it. When Thread roused from his slumber he was patched, stitched, and had button eyes. He was devastated and also freaked out. Thread was still in the cave and from the corner of it a voice rang out, "So, Dearth. Or should I say Thread now that you're all dolled up." a cackle followed that statement. Thread at the moment had only

noticed his patched and stitched paws, not his buttoned eyes. "You'll stay like this, forever." the voice never said anything about a cure or a way to turn back, "This is what happens when you reject me."

Thread stayed silent, he wasn't even sure if he could talk and if he could he didn't want to waste his words on her. Thread stood up and started walking away from the witch, she said no words as he left. Thread had come upon a rather large room in the cave, though is was a cave room, and he could see a light in the ceiling of the cave and a puddle of water at the bottom of it, he walked over to it to have a look at himself. The sight shocked him to tears, if that was possible, his perfect fur was torn from his body and replaced with this fabric that was mismatched with all the others, even his wings were changed and mismatched, and the worst of it was his eyes.Thread's gorgeous greenish blue eye were replaced with white buttons.

Thread and found his way out of the cave to the bright sun and all the while tears streamed his cloth face, how he could cry was beyond him. Thread had tried going to his friends but no one recognized him and they were all afraid of him because of how he looked. Thread has been alone for a long time since his change to being a doll, and he can't even remember what he looked like, only his eyes is what he remembers, Thread dearly misses being normal.
Talent:
As his charm depicts, a needle, he can sew. Thread picked up on sewing after his transformation, an old and wise retired leader, that was not afraid of him, had given him his charm after seeing a few of Thread's works and decreeing that as his talent. After that he made many things, clothing, dolls, coats, etc. Though Thread is more sensitive around dolls and the ones he makes he tries to keep them clean and put up.
Personality:
After the transformation, Thread became anti-social and quiet. Although he didn't choose to be anti-social. Other Foxerflies were just scared of him and never went near him. Thread never spoke after being turned into a doll either, because he didn't know if he could and he didn't want to try. Thread also had come to like making things for others, which is where most of his works go. Thread loves seeing the looks on the little one's faces when he gives them toys that he makes. Giving to others is his main joy in life, besides sewing, the happiness on their faces' just makes him feel so wonderful. Thread is very kind, as shown with giving others his works, also Thread is a rather lonely Foxerfly. Thread may meet another that may stay and chat to him for a while and he would try to signal back to them what he's trying to say, but it's not often when he meets someone like that.
