So . . . what is a Jewel Kit?
A Jewel Kit is a special type of feline. Their bodies are one big, flexible rock, crystal, or gem. If you looked at them with a microscope, you would see thousands of tiny shapes that make up their coat; it's pretty much one big cut gem. The gem they are made of they have control over, say, a turquoise Jewel Kit could change around the properties of turquoise for a short time, allowing the patch they're sleeping on to feel like a fluffy pillow. A small version of their gem is in the space between the two 'prongs' at the end of the tail, say with Emerald here, our mascot, she has a small cut emerald there.

Here are some basic facts about them:

They sleep with their long tail curled around them,
then posted overhead, so their stone gives off a
glow that surrounds them like a spotlight.

They can conjure up a mist around them, which is
their main defense. They also can make their mini
stone glow.

A group of them are called a Shimmer

Babies=Plum
Kittens=MiniPad
Grown=Shoebox

They never have horns or wings except in special
circumstances, and some Wild male ones have manes.
All Wild ones can be recognized by the wild growing
crystals on their back.

Stuff that regular cats eat; mice, birds, rabbits
occasionally, etc. If they can stay around mineral
water, like in a cave, they won't have to eat.

Oh Hello! Kitty MM has told me to introduce my species to you funny humans (well you are). We're a pretty secluded species over all, so this little interview is pretty rare among my type. Hmm, let's see . . . We live together not very often, so we have no real name for a group of us, but I think up-uh, humans do. Check that handy list Kitty MM gave you! Well, many of my pridemates have kitted, and with the new discovery of humans (you are a very interesting species!) they are thinking of looking for humans to help them take care of their young and be friends with. Now, would you like to have someone pick out your breeding partner for you? I didn't think so.
So if you want to breed two Jewel Kits, they will have to both be adopted by you so that they at least know each other.
Jewel Kits breed by twining their long tails together. When the gems connect, they form a baby Jewel Kit.
The baby stays in a pouch on the mother's tail for about a week,
so when you order a breeding, you'll see only the color of their stone/gem/jewel and their gender on their page,
at least until the week is over.
Breedings cost 1 uncommon cat.

If you only have one cat, and you want to do a Breeding, for one 2010 or back cat of any rarity you can have your Jewel Kit breed with a friend. You won't be able to pick the friend though, so be careful, the Jewel Kit's friend could be a Wild Jewel Kit or one you've never seen before.

With breeding, you create a completely new jewel, a combination of both parent's jewels. There will only be 1 kitten.
To tell what Kits are from breedings, they all have a blue dot next to them.
