White-blonde hair makes Genevieve stand out within her tribe. Her pale-grey eyes and light skin gives her a washed-out appearance, which has earned her a few unflattering nicknames. As the daughter of a councilmember, she's doing her best to keep her reputation out of the dirt and joining the latest group of wanna-be dino tamers seemed like a foolproof idea. She's hoping to tame this feathered dino in order to gain respect (and fame...) because who would mock the rider of such an awe-inspiring beast?

Variant of Arabic Sofian, meaning "sandstorm".
One with this name is said to have strong leadership potential,
and seeks solitude away from every day life.
I chose this name because Sofan can be harsh and very strong, often uncaring for the thoughts, opinions, and feelings of others, and as such will be very difficult to train and ride.

An Arabic/Egyptian word meaning "sandstorm".
He goes by "Sin" for short.
Sin in a strong and resilient young man, used to the harshness of the unrelenting desert sun. His skin has a certain glow about it, though he's naturally slightly paler than the rest of his tribe, and has spiky blonde, nearly white hair. This means he has to take extra care when heading out, and often has to cover up in a poncho-like fabric that covers his shoulders and upper arms. Under it he wears a black vest with forearm "guards" as well as fingerless gloves, all of which are black and adorned with silver rivets. His outfit is finished off by black steel-toed boots, black cargo pants, and black goggles that act like sunglasses to dull the glare of the midday sun.
As a person, Sin is very quiet and antisocial. He much prefers the company of his dino to the company of other humans. He's often very blunt and to-the-point, doing his job quickly, quietly, and correctly. He believes actions speak louder than words and has a firm hand, and always lets you know exactly what he expects from you.

-All throughout his life, Fawler is the model citizen. He never broke the rules, did as he was told, and put all his effort into providing for his tribe however he could. He is the oldest of four siblings in his family, and strives to be a role model for them. However, Fawler has one massive fatal flaw: His need for speed. Racing and gambling has been something he struggled against all his life. He has never ridden a Dinosaur of his own before, but watching others race always gave him a thrill. He is very well aware of this vice, and seeks to contain it by avoiding capturing wild dinosaurs who appear to be excessively fast, hoping that the appeal of racing and gambling will fade if he isn't the fastest. This, however, does not mean at all that he won't love his steed until he dies. Loyalty and family, which he would consider a dinosaur to be, are the most important things in his eyes.

A Wren is a feisty little song bird known for their complex songs and resilient natures. Much like his namesake, Wren is a bit smaller than other Bernikesaurs of his age, but his big personality more than makes up for it. He can be a little bit prickly in demeanor, especially when he feels like he has something to prove, and because of this, he spent much of his wild life exploring the wide, rolling hills of Mat'junea alone. He is also an intelligent and independent creature, making his training difficult. Simply put, if he is uninterested, his mind will wander and he will find something he would much rather be doing. Beyond this, he is sensitive to harsh criticism, and his trainer must use a gentle hand in guiding him, lest they loose all important trust and respect.

Your Rider's Name: Ayanna al'Helliayh

Ayanna, despite her name meaning 'beautiful blossom,' is neither pretty nor fragile. As a young child, she was scarred in a fire and is missing her left eye as a result. She is very self conscious and shy, and has a habit of turning her face away from the person she is talking to in an attempt hide her scars. Growing up, she faced the added challenge of lacking depth perception, making all the normal tasks of hooting arrows and throwing spears all that much more difficult. Also the brunt of plenty of jokes and the target of much teasing both because of her disability and her introverted personality. Despite this, she possess a rare sort of quiet strength, that allows her to persevere without the need for encouragement for others. She is neither boastful, nor proud, and will strive to overcome her limitations at great risk. In this way, the moment she saw Wren, this beautiful feathered beast, striding across the plains with all the grace and strength she herself did not have, she knew she must capture her for her own.
