What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

Here you go, a Mutato with soft, warm palette :3 To adopt this one, draw this mutato doing something incredibly cute. If you make someone 'aww' when they see the piece, you're on the right track! You can pretty up the form, but no extra. I'l judge this base on art.

Chicory is a type of plant with blue flowers and thick, deep roots, that can be made into tea. The name of this plant alone reminds me of autumn and chilly, stormy, beautiful days. The sight of this Mutato, too, invokes those thoughts.

•Why...? Well, the lovely design on her tail is of corn/wheat/crops, and
this made me think of Harvest. Then, at the mention of something cute, I
thought of Pigs... I realised this could be little off subject, so after searching my
mind for a split second, a little mouse pops up in my vision, and what (other than pigs)
is more adorable than a little mousikins? Plus, there is a species called the harvest
mouse, hence this beuty's name.

Her Name: I think I'd like to call this lady Here Today, Gone Tomorrow. Or just Today, for short.
Why did I choose this name? Her tail reminds me of the rising sun, which makes the words, "a new beginning," pop in my head. Those clouds on her body remind me of a storm, and some storms have the power to take lives. This is where her name comes in... Celebrate each day you have, because it might be your last.
