It's based off of an old Japanese Legend of the Sun God Amaterasu, who would go around and restore peace and nature. One day, Orochi (The evil in this game), who was sealed away by Amaterasu in the past, was reserected and killed all the life in the land. Though, one town, Kamiki Village was spared because of the Wood Sprite Sakuya's magic. She revived Amaterasu from his statue...

And that's a basic summary of the beginning. Its all I can say. ;3
Anyways, back on topic, I really love how you did this Trekkle, North! ^.^
