What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

««reason for choosing the name at first I thought that I would name her spotlight, due to the design, but through thinking about the rest of the form's possible content I came to the name applause, which I think suits her

The night would begin with the special person picking Appa up from her house at 5pm, and together the two of them would walk a few blocks, talking about music, to the local theatre. There they would watch a show, preferably one that Appa is understudy for, while sharing a medium bucket of cherry popcorn. After the hour and a half long show, they would have a spaghetti dinner for two with lemonades at the little Italian place across the road. It would conclude with them sharing a slice of triple layer chocolate cheesecake, and walking home talking about the show. They would hug, and Appa would wave him goodbye as he walked to his own house a block down, perhaps flying part of the way. Appa would go to bed at 8:30 and dream happy dreams of their night together .

When I first saw this Mutato, I was blown away
by it's beauty and I must say I admire your astonishing work.
I decided to make the best form I could for this wonderful
critter and as I check the others forms, they put in their
best as well. So please enjoy their forms.

A very delicate name also Elizabeth, I hear, was a very popular name
in the 1880s, the victorian years.

Sometimes, Elisabeth enjoys the usual moonlight stroll
or sitting on a park bench, watching the multi-colored sunset.....
But her Dream Date would be fine dining
at a 5 star dinner. She'd order her favorite, a Thai Green Curry.
And for desert a Red Velvet Cheesecake.
Though, She would also enjoy observing a play from one of Shakespear's
best work like "A Midsummer Night's Dream" or " Romeo and Juliet".
It is much to her liking because she has shared an interest in plays for a while.
She even wrote some herself.

Halo! The name's Waterstar2002! What? You've never heard of me? Well, now you have! Pleased to meet you!

This mutato's name is Lana.

The name Lana means "Light" or "Sun Ray". I thought that in this case "light" or "Sun Ray" fit this mutato. I also love how this sounds. Lan as in "land" a as in "a" (the "a" sounds like a "u" does when is is sounded out). The name Lana reminds me of my favorite book when I was a child. The book was called, "The Unwanteds" and my favorite character was called Lani. The name Lani means rain. I find it strange that they are spelled almost exactly the same, yet they have opposite meanings. Don't you?

Lana will be female.

Lana would meet him at the end of her street. While she walked there she wondered what he would be like. When she gets there she sits on a bench that has a great view of the lake and the beautiful waterfall. He would arrive exactly on time and open the door for her. She would giggle and climb in. Then he would address her as milady all night and every time he said it she would giggle. When they reached the small Mexican restaurant two miles from where she lives he would hop out of the vehicle and before she could open the door rushes to open the door for her. She would jump out and he would say "follow me, Milady." She would laugh and follow him into the restaurant and they would sit in a booth in the back. He would guess exactly what she wanted and then order for her. They would both enjoy a wonderful Mexican feast and then when the finished they would leave a five dollar tip and leave the restaurant on the way back he opened and closed the roofline before. They would sit on the same bench Lana sat on while she waited for him. They would watch the waterfall and talk about the magical night and just as she was about to leave he'd pull her in for a goodnight kiss. He would leave in his little mutato vehicle and she would skip home feeling light and happy.

"The design on the tail, especially the clouds, reminded me of heaven. Also white is thought of to be pure and I could imagine Heaven as a pure, innocent soul. The colourful beams of light make me think that they are lights from the heavens falling to earth, Heaven would be an imaginative mutato and his head would always be stuck up in the clouds but the lights on his body remind him that he does have to come back to earth sometime. The lights are also beautiful colours that warm your heart. Overall the design is delicate and likeable just like I think Heaven (the mutato) would be."

"Heaven's idea of a perfect date would begin with him picking up his date at 12 noon, on the dot. Then they would begin their walk along the stone sidewalk, enjoying the spring air and just talking to each other. He would share a few jokes and she would laugh with him even though they were bad jokes. His lack of humor would amuse her and whilst they continued to giggle together, his date having to lean against him to support them self. he would pull out flowers at precisely the right moment. They would be white daisies, a simple flower yet filled with love. His date would accept the flowers with a grin and in turn trade them for a box of chocolates. He would smile and accept them. As they walked he would share some of his chocolates with his date. And then they would arrive at their destination, the park, nothing fancy. Heaven believes that simple is beautiful. The park would bursting with the new colours of spring, there would be budding flowers and new grass and trees taking shape in the trees. They would settle themselves on a hill and a yellow checked picnic blanket would be placed atop the grass. He would've been carrying a basket and then would put it on the blanket. He would take out two paper plates and place them on the blanket and then two little plastic cups. He would fill the cups with freshly made lemonade (made by Heaven of course) and pull out some slices of watermelon, chocolate chip cookies and tuna sandwiches. He would split them between the two of them and they would eat in a warm silence. They would both tidy up their lunch and then head off for a stroll through the trees. Heaven would then drop his picnic basket and leap at his date, giving her a surprise. It would be a playful gesture and they would then both chase each other until they got tired. They would leave the park at 4:00pm and on the way to his date's house they would talk about themselves a bit more. He would then drop his date at their door and plant an adorable yet awkward kiss on his date's cheek. Heaven when then go home, warm with the thought of a successful first date and his heart would be blossoming with love. That would be the perfect date."
