What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

OHMAHGOSH! It's so much better than I thought it'd be! What I did was, because one of my entries based on Indian fabrics was so popular, I picked one of my beloved wardrobe scarves and replicated the design to a similar effect. It's so much better than I thought it'd be; so glad I spent all of those hours squinting at the screen and burning out my eyeballs!

I was super tempted to keep it for myself as a custom, but... I decided to be nice and let someone else love it! It's gotta be a spectacular form therefore!

A huge yawn. The little purple Mutato sat up in bed, then pushed back the mesh around her bed and dropped onto the wood floor. She padded over to the little kitchenette in the corner, and hovered up to reach the cereal. After fixing herself a bowl of Weet-Bix, she carried them onto the front porch, sat down at the little table she had put out and smiled. After devouring the breakfast, she passed the tree trunk sticking up through the floor and through the roof to put her bowl in the sink to wash later. She then took a running start and leapt into the warm Indian sunrise, knowing that she had only a few hours before she would be forced to retire to her little bathtub to read. She soared up through the trees, looking down on her little tree-house proudly. Then she flew off towards the town, where the markets would be starting soon. She smiled.

««extra««what this mutato hates eth absolutely despises anything rascist, sexist, anything that puts down a certain part of society for what she says is no real reason. She doesn't believe in talking bad about a culture just because they have different skin colour or religious belief; she thinks everybody should get equal respect, no matter who they are
««extra««my little train of thought let us begin. The design was said to be based on an Indian scarf, which led me to thinking of India, and multiculturalism. After pondering this for a while, “ethnicity” popped into my mind, followed by thoughts about racism, sexism etc. I thought this would be nice to base her off, and I was set for the form! The images on the side are from a search for Indian mosaic, the colour palette from a simple search of the word “India”, and the quote from a search of “ethnicity” (all on corresponding websites). They all tied together, much to my delight.
I had great fun with this form. Researching India and what it’s like in summer, looking at all the beautiful colour palettes to do with Indian summers, and writing all about Eth was the best. So as I go into crossed-finger-hibernation, I say this- thank you for giving me the chance to be granted ownership of this beautiful, unique mutato!
