What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

+Reason for choosing the name: Ayasha is a Native American name for "little one." To me, this Mutato is little in size, but large in spirit. She is a small quiet Mutato that has a heart of gold to people who are close to her.

+Favorite activity: Some people go bird watching. Ayasha goes mouse watching. She loves to just float along, studying the certain mouse she has decided to stalk study. She finds them very interesting, as they look vaguely like her, yet don't float. She finds that very odd.

+Personality: Ayasha is very child-like in her personality. Always searching for answers, curious, and naive at times.

When I saw the fluffy body of this gorgous mutato I had just finished a drawing of an Mink for someone. A mink is a lovely little weasel-like creature, like the one on top of my form! I tried to think of a good, suitable name for this baby but it was no use. My mind kept whispering Mink... Mink... Mink... XD So I decided to give the name a chance. <3

Favorite Activity:
Mink absolutely adores reading. She will read anything she can get her paws on from end to end, completely absorbed in to typing be it a tale or an article.

My Username: My name is AirAngel, pleased to meet 'cha ^^

This mutato's name is: Tsuoyal (Tsu-oi-yal)

Reason why I chose this name: The top half made me think of ocean waves, and the second half reminded me of the chest of a wolf. To me, wolves always inspired loyalty. My favorite ocean word is tsunami. After playing around with the adding names and changing them around but keeping the full word for about ten minutes, I thought... Add the words together. The first three letters are from TSUnami. The last four letters are from lOYAL. I thought it was a lovely name, better at least than the last names I'd been working with. And, of course, it's one-hundred percent original.

Favorite Activity:Tsuoyal is always a bit lonely- Often her unending loyalty scares other mutatoes. However, that makes her only more loyal to her few, TRUE friends. And then, her favorite activities are simply being around them. She will do whatever her friends want, but games where she can use her special flying speed are her favorite. Other than that, when she's alone and resting, nothing makes her happier than to be curled up with a Sudoku book and a pencil.
