What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

Tree of Life

And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

The moment I looked at this Mutato, I was reminded of the tree of life, mentioned in the Bible (verses above taken from the King James Version). The beautiful liveliness, intricate design, and gorgeous color palate of this Mutato reminded me of the beautiful tree mentioned in the verses above.

Tree of Life may be a beautiful provider and healer, but she can be quite ugly at times, lashing out at those who harm or hurt her, her family, and her friends. She is caring, kind, and sweet - but she can be mean and cruel, just as life often can be. She judges others according to their deeds, actions, morals, and personalities - Tree of Life can be loving towards one being, but can be hateful and spiteful towards another; it really just depends on her opinion of that particular being.

Reason for choosing name: Serence (pronounced ser - ince - ay) is derived from 'serene'. The colors and design used certainly makes the Mutato feel serene, and I tend to make up odd names, and this is one. ^^
Personality: Serence is laid back and passive, and likes to stay in trees.

Why did you name this gem Lilac?? I named this beautiful motato Lilac because her colors and her design, i know there swirls but they remind me of pretty stems. the color of the tail also reaminds me of green grass!<333

Describe the Mutato's personality in 3 sentences! Ok, well, shes very shy and shes independent. shes sweet and shes kind. shes not the type of mutato to make a big Scene.

Faery Tail

Reason for choosing the name

Well, It took a long time to think of, but i finally got it-- Faery Tail! The simple, smooth drawing reminded me of a Fairy tale. I just love the soft, smooth waves and the lighter colors, and the tree reminds me of some type of tree in a garden at a castle in a Fairy tale! Anyway, I thought it was too plain as "Fairy Tale", but with some thinking, I spelled It differently-- Faery Tail! And the "Flame" Mutato tail reminded me too of a fairy tale! The nice, simple, gentle wave of the tail reminds me of some type of mystical garden in a Fairy tale. Therefore, I think this name was the best suiting for this cute little mutato~

Faery's Personality

Faery Tail (Faery for short) Is a kind, gentle mutato, always helping other people and Mutato's out. Shes very shy yet would put her life out to animals, especially her pet bunny, Dusty. She lives in a Magic garden behind a castle, High in the sky over the clouds.
