What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

Name of the Mutato: Jack N Dash

Nickname of the Mutato: Applebow

Reason for Choosing the Name: When I looked at this Mutato's beautiful design, it reminded me of two female characters from MLP:FiM (My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic). The two characters were Applejack and Rainbow Dash. This Mutato's name and nickname are both combinations of these two ponies' names.

According to the MLP:FiM Wikipeda...
Applejack is an Earth pony and one of the main characters of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. She lives and works at Sweet Apple Acres with her grandmother Granny Smith; her big brother Big McIntosh; her little sister Apple Bloom; and her dog Winona. She represents the element of honesty. Applejack is dependable and loyal, always willing to help anybody in need. She is shown to be supportive and protective of Apple Bloom and her friends. She works at Sweet Apple Acres mainly as an apple bucker, though the Apples occasionally farm carrots and corn as well.
Ashleigh Ball is the actress who does both her singing voice and speaking voice.

Rainbow Dash is a Pegasus pony and one of the main characters in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. She is responsible for maintaining the weather and clearing the skies in Ponyville. As a huge fan of The Wonderbolts, she dreams of one day joining their elite flying group. Rainbow Dash has a pet tortoise named Tank. She is a surrogate big sister to a younger orange Pegasus pony named Scootaloo. Her family has not yet been mentioned in the series. She represents the element of loyalty.
