"Come on, Zwee!" yelled a fellow chameleon. "It won't be dangerous, I promise!"
But Zwee wasn't sure. His mom had always said to stay away from the old factory. But these were his friends, the only ones who didn't tease him for being pink. Surely he could trust them, right?

It wasn't something you see every day. Three 4 year old chameleons ducking into an old factory. But then again, you probably wouldn't have thought much of it.

"Whoa, what's that?" his friend asked. They were up on a high balcony, staring down into a vat of blue, bubbling... slime. "I dare you to go down there!"
"No", Zwee said. "It's scary."
"Oh, come on!" His friend yelled, and pushed him. Zwee fell...
...right into the vat.
..........................................................
Oddly, only some parts of Zwee stayed blue. The rest wore off. The blue skin is now very leathery. Zwee doesn't mind. At least he's not all pink now.
