What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

Had fun last time so I decided to make one more back to schoolish one x3

My sister HATES arygle, but her favorite color is pink, so why not name it after her?

+Short Story for Mutato
(I wrote a poem, if you don't mind. It's basically a story that rhymes~)

A pixie sized puffball paces,
Wishing to join in the Mutato Races.
But the pink puffball must rest,
if she wants to race her very best.
She lays in a sleeping Mutato pile,
With her fur just like tile.
She seems covered in pink,
But you wouldn't think,
That the puffball seemed like an odd one out,
Because all Mutatos are without a doubt,
Out of the ordinary,
But, they're all extraordinary.

Reason for name: Rosa Means Pink in Portuguese.
I thought the name would match the color theme of this Mutato.
And the short story goes with it.

Short Story:
The Strong breeze filled through WildBerk Library, Hurling
the dust that shrouded the library's shelves.
The daylight shone through the windows, and brightened the bronze carpet
that lined the reading area.
The Librarian, Mrs. Ramseys looked up from her page in the Portuguese
dictionary. It was closing time.
She bookmarked her page with a pink ribbon and closed the library windows.
She left one on the right opened to the width
of a basketball. She slipped on her jacket and hurried out the door. She locked
the door and walked down
the sidewalk. She felt like she had forgeten something.... One hour later, The right window was
bigger then before.
A furry fluffball who looked like a book was sitting down on
the carpet. When you look closely, you'd realize it's a Mutato. Curious, the Mutato toured
the room until it spotted an open book on the librarian's desk. It paced towards it and
noticed a ribbon dangling from the page. The Mutato lept up on the desk and began to read
the words on the following page. She couldn't make heads or tails of the mingle mangle of
words that spread across the page but there was one word that caught her eye. Rosa.
Because under it was her favorite word, Pink. She finally made the connection! "Pink?
Rosa! RosaRosa!" Excited by her new knowledge, she grabbed the pink ribbon off the
page and pranced around the room chanting her new favorite word. Rosa!
Later on my uncle, the caretaker of the Library found the pink fluffball sleeping on the
ground with the ribbon tucked safely under her chin in a tight grasp. He thought she
was just too cute for words and decided to give her to me to look after.
He named her after the first word he heard her say.......Rosa.

Btw I counted it a couple of times it shouldn't be more then 300. If it is I'm sorry, I must have missed some words.

Reason for choosing the name

Molly is the name of an old dog I used to own. She was the sweetest thing ever and always ran up to greet me when I came home from school everyday.

Short Story for Mutato

New school, New Mutatos, same excitement. That was what Molly felt that day stepping in to the crowded hallways. She had graduated from her previous school, taking a new step in life as she advanced in her education. Now she was somewhere new, ready to learn. As excited as she was, she was also afraid. What if she couldn't succeed in this new learning environment? What if she plummeted, eventually to drop out and never live the life she wanted. Temptations lingered around every corner, threatening to take her down. She knew this very well.

Yet, looking around her, she felt somewhat confident. She would battle and defeat the beast that is education, succeeding in life and happiness. No amount of fear and distractions would keep her from this goal. So with that, she held her pink composition book and took her first step in to a greater education.
