This is my first Mutato available for adoption, hope you all like it :3 And a big thank you to Akami for adding me as a full time artist!

What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

This contest has been judged and I really just HAD to write a little something to all of you who finished your forms. I know you see us artists saying this a lot, but this was insanely hard to judge. Now before you continue on reading just go back and think about that for a minute. That means that more than just one, more than two, probably at least two forms each page, really hit a chord in me. I could really connect with a lot of you and see what you all saw in my design. And as a few of you stated, this was completely abstract, i did not have any particular theme in mind, I just wanted to see it through other peoples eyes. And It was the hardest thing I ever had to do to pick a winner. However, I did pick one. The owner of this lovely Mutato is PeachPassion, and I will be creating a runner up Mutato forPugtastic. (If she/he wants one). u s e r n a m e ↷ ｍｙusername name is peachpassion, which you have likely already gathered. c: i am an active stalker lover of the mutato species but am yet to submit a form for one as i am seeking a certain design that will stand apart from my many other charries. however impossible this task seemed, i am completely convinced that i have found that perfect design... and you have crafted it. so, i must thank you for that, you clearly have an amazing talent as you have impressed me so much. ;w;
n a m e ↷ ｉdecided to name this beauty aria, if i were to win her. not only does this particular name have an elegant ring to it but it also relates to this mutato's personality and aspirations as aria means 'solo melody'.
r e a s o n i n g ↷ ｔｈｉｓ name was selected because aria, as stated above, represents a song sung by a single artist. the following section of this form explains aria's relation to an activity labeled 'ribbon dancing' which i believe her design relates to hugely. therefore, since ribbon dancing is a sport participated in by one performer only, the name aria has a strong connection with this mutato's passion. aria also expresses the idea of independance which hints that this mutato, while welcoming and friendly, actually prefers to be left without the company of others.
r e m i n d s m e o f ↷ ｃｌｅａｒｌｙ, this design reminds me of a rather unknown activity entitled 'ribbon dancing'. this mutato's body features a pink-tone ribbon design floating above of the patterns beneath. this ribbon seems to be dancing along with the blue-colored ribbon that appears for only a moment. ribbons and dance were not the only themes found in this design, i also believe elegance, purity and independence are all ideas expressed in aria's coat.

thank-you so much for allowing me to try out for this amazing creation. i've fallen completely for this beauty and hopefully i'm considered while you are judging. c: everyone else has such amazingly coded and worded forms, so i'd just like to jump in and let them all know that. your designs are constantly beautiful and so detailed, which is why i couldn't resist this one. ^w^ thank-you, once again, hopefully judging all goes well for you. a big congrats to whoever wins, i may dump some art on you once i no longer have to draw through my computer and can produce better-quality work on a tablet. thanksssss. c:

Grayscale: Grayscale is kind of an artist's term for shading, but to me it's another word for different shades of gray.

Fireworks: Both fireworks and Mutatos can be colorful. (perfect example for this one!)They also both somehow fly.

Name Reason;;
Well I named this mutato Virus because Virus can be a nickname for the name Isis, and Isis is the Greek goddess of rainbows. Rainbows also can't happen without a little gloomy rain, now can't they?

What does the design remind me of;;
The design actually reminds me of the ocean. Why? Well in a coral reef it is all bright and colorful with different aquatic flora, but if you go a bit deeper the color starts to fade, and it soon turns grey.

Hello there c: I've applied for a few different Mutatoes, but never won one. I love the originality of this one, so I just had to try out.

Ｍｕｔａｔｏ  ｎａｍｅ－ Radiance
If I won this Mutato, I'd make it female and name her Radiance.

Ｒｅａｓｏｎ  ｆｏｒ  ｎａｍｅ－ The body design
The body of this Mutato is a morph of colors, bubbles, and streaks/swirls.To me, the colors are like bright sheets of light on mist. If you've ever seen a rainbow in seaspray, you'll understand what I mean. Rainbows-- or any kind of bright color in an unexpected place, for that matter-- always seem to be glowing with light, and that's what radiance is.

Ｗｈａｔ  ｄｏｅｓ  ｉｔ  ｒｅｍｉｎｄ  ｍｅ  ｏｆ？ Lots of things; rainbows, elements, seaspray and the abstract...
To me, this Mutato could really be anything. The body, as I said before, reminds me of seaspray and rainbows, but it also seems to hint at different elements: there are bubbles throughout the design and fire on one side. But I think it could also represent the abstract, meaning the depths of imagination. It's interchanging, colorful, and wonderfully strange, just like a creative mind can be.
On the flipside, the grey could also be like the logical part of someone's mind, the x's representing data on a grey background. The two sides counter each other out, in a way, and one can't exist without the other.
