WHAT IS AN ESKARIO?
An Eskario is a nature spirit, literally tied to the land it is born in. There are three types, or tribes, of Eskarios- forest, water, and mountain. The three tribes work together to preserve their corner of the world, untainted by humans. From the moment they are born, Eskarios are trained to develop their spiritual connections to the earth and the unique abilities that stem from it.

Where do they live? Maulden lives in the deepest part of the tropical forest: Taranis. Taranis has trees taller than the sky, rivers that sparkle in the sun, dazzle in the day and refreshes at every mouthful. The mountains are giant and full of caves and Maulden sleeps and rests in his own cave nearest to the forest. at night Taranis scares away all potential predators as the spooky darkness caves in on them like smoke... But the day is beautiful and prey is easy to catch for Eskarios.

Digging deeper "I, Maulden, tend to live on the edge, take life as it hits you and be wild and free. I may not socialize very well but to make up for that I heal those I can when I can. Of my 300 years I am only 52 and have my eye on some beautiful gal... I do, however, love to climb the sky high mountains for a challenge in which that may lead to ultimate fun. I swim in the river and to just get along with whatever is in my path. I do have one prized possession witch is my sword... I carry it with me at all times and will not be afraid to use it.."

I am Cowslushie, and this is Chitto. He is an outgoing male Eskario with a love for mountains. His home resides in the heart of a large mountain peak, where he lives with a tribe of mountain Eskarios. His strong muscles and claws help support him as he climbs amongst the rocks and cliffs, and he uses his large antlers to push big rocks or boulders out of his path. He may be small, but he is quite strong. Deep within his mountain home, he hides from predators and humans, keeping his distance from all strange things within his cave-like walls. Food is scarce in the high peaks, so Chitto tries to eat whatever he can hunt down or scavenge. His home contains mostly wild berry bushes and trees, along with the occasional baby falcon or wild hare. Chitto thrives to keep his nutrition going, so he can continue his life along the rocky environment. With a cave located far into the mountain ranges, he is quite isolated from most things. However, that does not stop Chitto from getting the vital resources he needs. He travels to a stream everyday to drink and rest, and sometimes use his own power to heal any earlier wounds. Nearby the creak lies a bit of a grassy plain that works its way up to another mountain. Chitto mostly hunts there, sometimes catching a simple rabbit or mouse. Turning east from the plain lies a few wild bushes and large pine trees, where Chitto can scavenge for plants or berries. Most mountain Eskarios know of this place, and many venture to the area for sources of water and food. This helps keep the life cycle growing for all mountain Eskarios, and it ensures the health of Chitto. Truly lucky to have a home so clean, pure and free, Chitto will never leave his large
cliffed habitat, for this is his nature environment and his
connection lies among the rocky edges.

Where do they live?
Gora lives in the Sredna Gora mountains in Bulgaria. She lives at
the base of the highest peek, the Golyam Bogdan. She prefers not to spend
too much time in one place so she often moves around but she almost
never leaves the base of the Bogdan.
