WHAT IS AN ESKARIO?
An Eskario is a nature spirit, literally tied to the land it is born in. There are three types, or tribes, of Eskarios- forest, water, and mountain. The three tribes work together to preserve their corner of the world, untainted by humans. From the moment they are born, Eskarios are trained to develop their spiritual connections to the earth and the unique abilities that stem from it.

Since this is a new species and it needs some development, I'd like you to imagine where you think this Eskario would live. You can write a detailed description of it, draw it, or anything else you can come up with to explain what his home is like. Extra points for creativity!

Where does he live? He lives in a forest that's always dark. You can't see any more than five metres in front of you because of a very visible mist that is always around. The trees are low, the lowest branches being 160 metres from the ground, and vines that reach low to the ground and may even grab your ankles as a prank. There are strong roots that seem to want to trip you all the time. There are no pathways between the trees. It's hard to walk. Well, it's not like there's really a need for paths.

His den is in the heart of the forest, with a well hidden entrance behind shrubs and long, tall grasses. The only way to find it is by the markings on the trees he leaves behind if he ever gets lost [not that he would anyway]. Each tree has a different marking, made with different methods - although sometimes they do repeat.
