the species:
tauren are about the size of a horse. males are usually bigger, with thicker fur and denser muscles. they have four eyes with excellent vision, capable of seeing extraordinarily well in the dark, and a set of venom-tipped fangs inside their mouth. they are predominantly carnivores; eating any and all meat they can hunt, humans are no exception to this rule [unless the human is their partner, or partnered with another tauren]. their fur is thick and shaggy, yet seems to hold no heat. the reason for this is yet to be discovered. tauren are surprisingly social, living in small groups of up to five. they frequently come into contact with other groups, and seem to have no exact territory; they are happy to share with those of their kind. when it comes to hunting, they are brutal but fast- and food is shared among them.

He's absolutely mesmerized by their ability to fly and how graceful and acrobatic they can be in flight. He especially likes raptors such as hawks, eagles, and owls as he feels he can relate to them with their keen eyes and strong hunting abilities. If he could fly among them he definitely would. It's the main reason he loves to be up high in the mountains. That and the fact that the views are stunning and he can see for miles without end.

Why that name?:
Venereum Columba is Latin for Romantic Dove. I have always been a hopeless romantic myself, and it just seems to click to me having a character that is also a hopeless romantic. Doves are a sign of peace and love, they also mate for life. I have always dreamed of having someone special to love and who will love me back. So I looked for a character who would be perfect for that particular part and this lovely thing grabbed my attention

The falling droplets of water as they take flight from their watery platform and the way it glistens in the sun as it hits the surface. A humming bird as it beats its tiny wings and is able to fly backwards, a heart beat that beats a thousand times per second. The silence of a beautiful owl at night as it glides through the night in search of its prey. Pelicans as they dive into the water and gather fish in their beaks. each bird has it's own special unique talent, be it fishing, flying, or even singing like a beautiful nightingale. That is why she loves to watch them, she dreams of her own wings, and a day she can finally join them against the pale blue sky, to feel the wind against her body.
