What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

Radio

It comes from the word "radioactive". It fits
the theme of the toxic waste and changing
world, but I also thought it sounded like a
cute, simple name for this little guy.

17 Years

Much like the rapidly shifting world that
created him, Radio's attitude and behavior
too goes through shifts over time. Bipolar
isn't that bad a word to use when describing
him. One week, Radio might be energetic
and optimistic, looking eagerly towards the
future, while the next week might bring
pessimism and laziness. Yet one thing that
remains constant in the oft shifting rays of
Radio's mood is his strange obsession with
change. Radio tends to grow tired of things
quickly, something you can easily see in his
habit of completely rearranging his room
practically every other week. He's a little
rebel at heart, preferring to be unique and
different from everyone else. This can,
unfortunately, cause Radio to be a tad too
arrogant for his own good, especially if he
happens to be on the energized side of his
personality spectrum.
