What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

What Would You Call Her?
I would name her Kasita.

Why Did You Pick This?
I chose the name Kasita because it means "Hidden" in Esperanto, according to the wonderful Google Translate. Because this is an eclipse based Mutato(who is very gorgeous, might I add), I thought hidden might be a good name for it as the sun and moon are obstructed from view during eclipses. And it's a very pretty name in my eyes. ^-^

Theme Song:
For my extra, I decides to pick her a theme song. I came up with Friend or Foe by t.A.T.u. To me, the song fits her perfectly because eclipses remind me of frenemies or something. The sun and moon; are they friends, or foes? Nobody knows(lol that rhymed XD).

The reason I chose the name 日食, it means "eclipse" in Japanese, because I'm obsessed with the solar system and well, now I'm obsessed with this Mutato, but that's besides the point. The real reason I chose this name is because it fits this little cutie perfectly.
