What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

Anyways, for this contest. Please do Not add anything to forms.
It'll be a simple contest. All you have to do is pick ONE item, related to it's Theme { Moon/Sun }
in any way, and You can Draw The mutato With the item, Draw the Item alone, or describe the item,
or tell how it got the item.. ANYTHING as long as it has to do with hat one item. You may do up to 3
things relating to the item, otherwise no addons! However, if writing, please Keep it short.
I'm not saying One Sentence, but Please don't write a whole essay on it. I Suggest about.. Um.. 300 Words give or take a few is alright!

Name: This is Link. He is a male, so don't insult him accidentally by calling him a girl.
Reason of the name: I chose this name for two reasons. One, I really like the name Link. Two, I thought of space when I saw this. Then I thought link for the never-ending wold out there. And those missing Links. And then Link was the name I chose.
Fact on the item: A pair of binoculars.He love to look for things in the daytime, and stars in the night.
Story.
It was a dark night, and there were many stars in the sky. Link scurried along to get something. He was little then, but he glanced up at the things in the sky. He was amazed about all the stars, and how they could all fit. He went home and tried to find many things to look at the things better. He grabbed a few things and went outside to go to see if it worked. He looked at the things for hours. Though, his concoction was very blurry. He later searched for things to make the stars bigger. A day later, his search had ended. He had found a pair of binoculars. He star gazes every night, for every stat and one that he could tell their stories.

Similar to the balances of the moon and sun, two forces each with their own respective abilities that do not overpower each other nor do they fluctuate in relation.

A small manually-wound time piece. The item is a well-worn {apparently by sand by its appearance} brass pocket-watch.
Equilibrium, who often goes by Equi for time's sake, re-discovered the antique in the dunes of his home.
