What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

I chose the name adara because it is the name of one of the brightest stars in the sky. I also have a friend named Adara, who is really into astronomy and things like that. I suppose you could say this is a little shoutout to her c:

adara's theme song would have to be the final countdown by europe. I chose this song because for one thing, it is about space. for another, it is one of my favorite motivational songs ever!

Andromeda.
Reason for the name:
Its the name of a galalxy that is approximatly 2.5 lightyears from earth.It is also the nearest spiral galaxy to the Milky Way galaxy. The Andromeda galaxy gets its name from the are in the sky in which it appers, called the constellation of Andromeda.
And this mutato is clearly based of off space, so I thought it was a necessicary name, and the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw it!

Ok, so I am a movie geek. I love all movies. So I was watching one in particular the other day. It was John Carter. In that movie they have different names for different planets. One name was Jasoom. Now Jasoom means earth in Barsoomian. I believe this name fits him, even though he is not earth, but a galaxy.

Jasoom loves all music, but his most favorite song is shooting star by Owl city. He knows all the lyrics, and sings it all the time.

Reason for his name?

My reason is very simple. Wentelbaan is Afrikaan for "Orbit." I think it suits him well, and I like how it sounds. Afrikaan is one of my favorite languages, and I decided "Orbit" would fit the best. Thank you for considering my form, and I wish the best of luck to the other contestants.
