Yukan'na
Yukan'na means 'brave' in Japanese. Most dragons are often depicted as fearless and aggressive, and since this Mutato is based off them, I thought Yukan'na is a fitting name. This hot-headed guy likes to be called Kan.
The Drake wrote:For years and years and a thousand more, the Great War will rage on.
A million lost souls, a billion cries; the fire within will die to coals.
And Destiny, with Fate, will bring upon a duel -
- Fire and Ice will shed blood and gruel.
After the duel, a victor will rise, and only then will Peace and Chaos suffice.
The sunlight, bright and fierce, cast a patch of pale gold light onto the battleground - a huge crater in the volcano Vesuvius. What was left of the bloodshed a day ago were the gleaming silver dragon blood, vicious clawmarks in the rock-floor and a songbird, which was gone as quickly as its trill when a crimson dragon snapped at it with open jaws, displaying two rows of razor-sharp teeth. The other dragon, silvery blue with menacing spikes on its tail stood ready. A hiss of ice-white breath escaped from his yawning jaws as he sleepily closed his surprisingly vibrant red eyes.
"Brother," chimed a voice of silken chimes. Blinking her cyan eyes, the red dragon stood up, wings unfurled. "Open those eyes! It is time."
"Not yet. I have to sleep - my wings feel very heavy."
"Do not take me as a fool, lazy-claws! We will be late for the Duel. I didn't - and I don't want - to spend that garnet circlet for nothing."
A snarl grumbled back at her in response.
Infuriated by her lazy kin, the scarlet dragon snapped open her jaws and shot a jet of bluish fire at him. The fire licked greedily at the Ice Dragon's tail until he yelped, leapt to his claws and blew a gust of icy air at the flames, extinguishing it instantly.
"You'll be sorry."
With a roar, the Ice Dragon lunged, fierce and fast, at his sister. He pinned her wings to the ground with his front claws and flicked his blue forked tongue. The Fire Dragon winced at the icy breath that stung her scales.
"The battle isn't at the Fairy Glen," the blue dragon said softly, lashing his spiked tail and increasing his grip as his sister struggled, growling. "It is here. Between two of us, a victor shall rise." The he-dragon's eyes gleamed, his muzzle pulling back to show two rows of ice-teeth.
"I shall win."
With a guttural snarl, he raised his tail high and sent it arcing down to her heart.

The adrenaline pumping ferociously through the Fire Elemental was almost unbearable as she watched, in slow motion, her brother's deadly tail aiming for her heart. Every single one of her muscles was tensed; she was prepared to defend.
At the last second, she let loose a stream of fire. Her brother howled, rearing up in agony as condensation dripped down from his melting tail. Seizing the opportunity, the red she-dragon raked at his exposed underbelly, sending golden blood spraying from the deep scratches.
"I do not want to kill you," said the Fire Dragon, suddenly very aware of what she was doing. She fought to keep her voice from trembling as she held her kin's gaze steadily. "Let us leave this place in peace."
Stamping out the last of the fire, he turned and growled a reminder, "A victor has to end this war."
The other dragon was prepared for what was coming; her lightning reflexes warned her of the danger and she dodged, landing a sharp blow on the Ice Dragon's neck.
Pain, sharper than needles, ripped through his neck. He felt his strength ebbing away and knew his life would seep away with his blood.
But not before he took down his rival.
The cyan dragon's talons left a huge rip in the fire dragon's left wing. Blood spurted out, trickling down the ravaged wing and dripping onto the floor as she howled her agony to the afternoon sky. "You're not my brother," she hissed, backing away from the advancing male. "After all, how can Fire and Ice be born in the same litter?"
Knowing that she was helpless without a wing to balance herself, the Ice Dragon revealed his two rows of glistening, horribly sharp teeth. "We are not kin now," he said, dodging a blow to his head, which spun from excessive blood loss. His opponent was cowered against the cold gray stone of the crater, shivering violently.

The Fire Dragon fought to keep her breathing even as her mind tried to process the excruciating pain. She watched, with empty eyes, as her former kin stalked forward; a lion coming for easy prey.
She wasn't giving up easily.
Her strength born of desperation, she breathed out a plume of smoky fire, momentarily stunning the ice dragon. Her jaws tightened around the choking dragon's neck, and a sickening crack echoed through the crater.
"May you walk with the stars and wind," she whispered, gently swiping her tongue across the dying dragon's neck.
A tear left a shimmering trail on the Ice Dragon's cheek.
