What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

I kept asking my BF for ideas and all he kept asking for was a woods/forest-y design,
so here it is x3

Name of the Mutato, and reason?
Fawn. Forests always remind me of tiny, newborn fawns creeping through the brambles, funding a safe place to hide deep in the soft, green leaves.

Deep in the meadow, hidden far away
A cloak of leaves, A moonbeam ray, Forget your woes and let your troubles lay
And when again it's morning, they'll wash away.

What type of tree does she live in?
Fawn lives in a fallen oak tree that has become a nursery log. Nursery logs provide homes for baby plants as they decompose, and are perfect for burrowing into to create a nice cosy home. This tree fell on top of another tree, so one end is close enough to the sky that Fawn doesn't feel trapped on the ground.

++Reason for choosing the name Well, Another word for elegant is fine, soooo... I took out the 'e'. But that didn't look good enough. I had to make it a little bouncy, because not only he's bouncy, He's cute! so I came up with Fin-Fin!

+What kind of tree he/she lives in. ~ A Weeping Willow. I just adore Weeping Willows!

{{Name of Mutato: Willow just seems like a great name for a cute cat. I always have liked the name Willow, but her friends call her W or Willo, she is known by Willow Gree. Her mothers last name was that. She does now have a middle name.

{{Reason for choosing name of the Mutato: Willow, just seems like a cool name for a cool cat. I have always loved the name Willow, so why not use it? It's a great name! Her mother calls her Grass though, since she is green. Her father calls her Plum because he says she is cute like one. Her siblings, (Mary and Mark..) call her Willow.

{{What kind of tree does your Mutato live in?: Willow lives in a Gubernick Aspen Tree. It is has orange and green leaves, it fall it has orange and it spring it has green I believe. She had lived in different ones ever since she was a little baby. She found this one and had stuck to it through thick and thin hard times for her favorite tree! She lives with her parents and her two siblings, (Mark and Mary.)

Reason for choosing the name:
It is a strange combination between 'Olive' and 'Emerald', in order to keep with the Mutato's color scheme. The Mutato is a duller but pretty shade of green and I wanted to name it Olive at first but found it too boring and decided to 'shake things up' and give it a rather bizarre name.

What kind of tree he/she lives in:
This Mutato lives in a mangrove tree. Mangroves are trees usually found in estuaries, swamps and similar smaller bodies of water. Mangroves have odd roots that stick above the ground and water, making perfect hiding places for small creatures, including this Mutato, who has made his home within the roots and trunk of a mangrove tree.

What this Mutato likes:
This Mutato likes nighttime, swimming, the dark, catching fireflies, playing hide and go seek, and exploring through uncharted areas most people and creatures wouldn't normally dare to adventure to.
