They tend to be focused on specific goals, experience a wealth of creative new ideas, and have the ability to implement these ideas with efficiency and determination. The alarm rang at seven o'clock, signalling the beginning of my daily ritual. After yesterday's drama, I decided I as going to take it easy with Aislin. After feeding everyone and letting the rest of the horses out, I stood near to her stall, leaning on the door and talking softly to her. She seemed rather agitated, probably by my presence since she looked tired from the long drive and a night spent cribbing at the stall. I inspected the damage from afar, sighing as I realized that I'd have to pay a pretty penny to get the paneling replaced. Moving for the music room next to my office, I selected her stall after shutting off all of the other speakers. I had bought this system from a good friend when I first built my barns to sooth the horses during thunderstorms, and many of my horses (and dogs, too!) had taken a liking to it. So scrolling through my music, I looked for something calming so hopefully quell Aislin's irritability. After quite a few unsuccessful song attempts, I finally chose the one that seemed to work. Being an avid Silent Hill fan, I'm very familiar with the music from each game and was actually quite surprised when Aislin chose Lisa's Theme from Silent Hill 1.

Smiling as I returned to her stall to find her relaxing a little bit, I stood and talked to her softly, spending about an hour just telling her about the ranch and the other creatures that called my massive ranch home. As her eyes drifted shut, I left her alone to relax in the whisper-soft music. By the time I had mounted up Requiem and finished my daily chores, the sun was at its highest peak. I went back inside to grab something to eat, before coming out to watch Requiem graze nearby to the porch. It wasn't long before I began to hear whinnying coming from the stable; the new tenant was awake. I whistled for my Requiem, leaping onto his back and entwining my hand in his mane. It probably wasn't smart to ride a horse without any tack at all, but Requiem and I had such a deep bond that I found it possible. Jumping was a slight problem, but I was getting better at it. I hoped to teach Aislin how to be ridden bareback as well, so I could use her as a teaching animal. She would make the perfect representative on why people should adopt mustangs instead of paying thousands for a purebred. Requiem was half mustang, but he was born inside my stables, not in a beautiful mountain range like I was sure Aislin was. Tightening my legs around my silver bay mount, I leaned close over his neck as he jumped the fence into the paddock and trotted into the open sliding doors of the stable. I slid off of his back and looked up to find Aislin with her head poking out of the stall door.
