Lady Lucille
Name:
Lady
Age:
4 years
Gender:
Mare
Color:
Dark Bay
Personality:
Lady is a very beautiful mare, and she knows that. She walks with her head held high, no matter what happens. She loves to strut around and show off, and I let her. I give her all the love and attention she deserves, while keeping her in line. Everyone on the ranch knows her as one of the head horses, and not only because my family owns the ranch. She does have a soft side, but I might just be the only one she shows it to. She isn't all big and strong. Actually, when she first arrived at the ranch, she was shy and innocent. I try to keep her in line, but sometimes it's fun to just sit and watch her show off. I always stay by her side during thunder storms, since she is horribly afraid of loud noises. She also has a fear of messing up, but we practice so much, she ony messes up on little things.
Story:
I sat on the fence and watched as the mare trotted around. She kept her head held high as she showed off. Lanie sat atop her back. She had a natural horse sense. Lanie was riding bare-back for the first time on her new horse. Lady matched Lanie perfectly. The were both beautiful, smart, and they both loved to show off. I watched as they jumped a hurdle and landed amazingly. I wasn't sure if Lanie knew I was watching them, but Lady did. She held her head high. I didn't know how, but it seemed like Lanie knew that she was trying to impress someone. She sat with good posture and rode like a professional. I turned and jumped off of the fence. As I walked off, the hoofsteps stopped. "Did you like it?" She asked me. I turned around and smiled at her. "You knew I was there the whole time?" I asked. "Just as you were leaving." Lanie replied as she started training again. I laughed and headed out to the barn.
