What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

[X] Neoma \ne(o)-ma\ as a girl's name is of Greek origin, and the meaning of Neoma is "new moon".

I wanted to name her something that was inspired by the night sky but I didn't want to be generic. I wanted something Greek for sure and had always been fond of the name Naomi. When I found Neoma, I thought it was perfect. The meaning even matches the theme!

+What inspires you? :

In both my writings and art, I am inspired by natural colors that still seem, unnatural if that makes sense. When I see the oranges and golds in the sunset, it still surprises me that they appear every time the sun sets. What captures me as the most beautiful sight in the world is the night sky. I recently took a long vacation to a desert where the city was lit by the stars at night. I have visited that city since I was in kindergarten but the night sky still amazes me. I cannot guess exactly why I get inspiration from this sight but I know that I will always be taken by the beauty of this desert sky.

I choose this name because it means night in Japanese. And I'm currently obsessed with Japanese symbols and words.

I get artist block a lot. I get inspired by just everyday things and events. That usually includes nature, but not always. Right now I'm getting a lot of inspiration from birds. I don't necessarily draw birds all the time. I just really love all of their beautiful and different designs and colors. I also like to ask other people what colors and designs that they like, then I can start making art from there.

Name of Mutato: She's going to be named Nightfall.
Reason for choosing the name: Just Midnight or something sounds too... average and this Mutato is FAR from average. Bedsides, Nightfall suits her. Nightfall is going to be a female because in Greek mythology, the moon was a goddess's task and responsibility.
What inspires you? Many things, really. My mom and friends inspire me along with books, art, poems, nature, technology and animals. My teachers are also great inspiration. Television is also great inspiration.
Other: I'm going to put her in my Signature as soon as I turn unCOPPA'D. That is going to be soon. Please don't refuse me because I'm COPPA'D! Anyway, even if I don't get her, great job on the art and... She's so incredibly cute!!! *Dies of adorableness* I particularly liked the tree silhouettes and stars.
