What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

Reason for choosing the name: Because of the the colors and how the tail looks like a phoenix's tail, and how there are both fire and ice phoenix's, so I thought that it fit perfectly.
Brief personality:
She's a mischievous and playful girl, friendly and optimistic, she likes to tease others at times though it's never extreme. She's also quite the little prankster, and loves to pull pranks on others, especially friends. But it should be known that she does have a bit of a short temper, and can be a little cranky and moody at times, but overall she has quite a friendly personality.

Reason for name: Well, the Red/orange part look like the Sun (Soliar), and the blue looks like the moon (lunar)

Personality: Well, brief right Mmmkay.. She's quite, and loves to explore! She has a set of telescope set all around her set on different stars, planets and moons. Her pace comes in handy when studying different space objects at one time, she hopes to be an astronaut or a astronomer one day.

Reason for choosing the name:The blue body and red tail.Also, the tail kinda looks like a flame.
Brief personality: He's mean, but brave,not afraid to lash out at people unexpectedly,And his feelings get hurt easily unless he is very mad.Like a flame. Even though he may seem mean, is you're a close friend of his, or your hurt bad/in bad trouble, he can be caring and always ready to lend a helping hand.
