What is a Mutato?

In a rapidly changing world of rapidly accumulating toxic waste, Mutatoes take to the sky.
These creatures, affectionately dubbed Mutatoes, are a sad combination of an unknown creature, radioactive material, and a potato.
They live in the sky and consume UV radiation. They are the new era of Super Man.

At birth Mutatoes are about the size of a potato and can grow to around the size of a basketball.
Generally they are busy creatures who would prefer flying to being carried.
The Mutato is filled with the same kind of gases that its tail is made of.
These gases are currently unidentified, but are lighter than air- enabling them to fly.
They can stay in the air for a maximum of 20 hours straight before they need to land and "rest".
Though, when they can't be in the air, Mutatoes pace... a lot.

I'm going to go with the very cliché ritual of using a Japanese name, being Hantai in this case.

Reason for choosing the name;;
Usually I'm not a fan of using foreign names, as google translate is already much overused for such a habit, but I was looking for a name related to opposites. Curious, I translated it to Japanese, and got Hantai, which I thought was cute. c:

Sweet and sour of course! Hantai has a very volatile personality, and can transition between these in seconds if angered!

If I win it I would name it Lunar Sun. Lunar for short.
Meaning of Name:
There really isn't a 'meaning' of it, basically it means " Moon Sun".
Why did I Choose This Name?:
It's because of it's design. The body looks like a bright and sunny day, while as it's tail is a dark night design.
Mutato's Favorite Opposites:
Lunar's favorite opposites are Light and Dark. She likes how light can symbolize 'good' and dark can symbolise 'bad' but that could be different too. Light doesn't always symbolize good and dark as bad. Dark can qualify to be something good as well light being bad. Lunar thinks thasince she is light and dark doesn't mean she's good and bad. Simyply she thinks light and dark symbolizes anything.

I chose Lunarim as a name because it is all but one letter of the Latin word "Lunarium" and the reason I chose to have one less letter is because each Mutato deserves a unique name, so that is what this one deserves as well.
