What is a Story Spirit?

A Story Spirit is a manifestation of knowledge and imagination that takes the form of a dragon, they’re often found in libraries, universities, and schools. But it isn’t uncommon for them to be found in any place where books can be found! These little cat sized creatures live inside the stories of the books that they surround themselves with, this often effects what form and design that they take on.

This bright little spirit /LOVES/ the ocean and can often be found splashing about in Fish identification guides, ocean photography books, and even some travel brochures! He is also very fond of fish puns and can endlessly banter them about, we all know that he dolphinately does it on porpoise.
I'm sure this little fellow would love to squiggle home with you!

Short personality: Coral is a spunky girl who loves to laugh. She is loyal and stubborn. She loves to swim. At times she cane be really quiet and calm. But sometimes she gets a little to grumpy.

'She gazed at the sea,
Wishing she could be'.
"Urg! How am I supposed to write a poem when these sea gull are trying to eat me!" Coral screamed.
Coral's scream scared away the sea gulls.
"Finally!" Coral said and went back to writing.
'A sea lion that was to big,
For a sea gull to eat,
So she could do her jig,
Without a beat.'
"Well, I am done! Might as well go get me a penut butter jelly fish sand witch!" Coral said with a laugh and walked home.

Spirit's chosen gender: Male

Short personality:
Jaxon is easily excited by many things, though the thing that excites him the most is the book Moby Dick. He loves anything to do with the ocean and dreams of going there someday for a visit. He'd love to be a pirate, though he figures that likely won't happen since the 'cool' ones no longer exist today due to advances in technology.
Since he has never actually been to the ocean, he likes to practice swimming in the wave pool near the place he resides. He insists that he'll need the practice because of the ocean's huge waves, but in all honesty he is an amazing swimmer and likely would have no problem exploring the depths of the ocean if he were given the opportunity to do so.

Come my friends and gather round,
A better tale was never found,
Of the spirit Jaxon Tate,
Swam the ocean through the gate,
Found himself on Poseidon's knee,
Terrified he'd given up his chance to swim free.

There he sat with wings aflutter,
"Poseidon sir there's so much clutter,
Might I clean your kingdom please,
I promise I can pick it up with ease."
The ocean king gave a little chuckle,
"But dear spirit we're quite the couple."

"Sure my kingdom's not so neat,
And I sense that you dislike your seat,
Upon my knee is not your home,
You'd rather dance upon seafoam."
So the king allowed the spirit to go,
At least that spirit told me so.

Spirit's name:
Ecthelion. It's quite a mouthful, pronounced ek-THEL-ee-on. It means, 'of the water, spear point, sharp resolve'. You can call him Thelion, if you'd like.

Spirit's chosen gender:
Male. I can only imagine Ecthelion as such.

Short personality:
Thelion is a mariner at heart; he hates being cooped out and is always moving. The salt of an ocean breeze has always suited him. He is usually calm and reserved, but he does have a wild streak to him. Ecthelion is a tough, hardy little fellow, always ready for an adventure. He's a steadfast companion, and is actually quite handy with all things to do with the sea. He has good concentration and likes learning about things that are new, considering the sea is filled with them. Once he has decided he wants to do something, you'd be hard pressed to stop him, as his determination is extraordinary. However he can be quite a jokester, liking to see the expression on your face when you hear his riddles.

I wanted to put some riddles that he loves and will say at every opportunity!

sorry guys, I've been increasingly busy for the past few weeks, so this spirit sort of went on the back burner. ;n;
although we've finally picked a winner for this lovely spirit...!
