This mare was born a pale palomino, but is now going grey. Unforunately, her owner passed away recently and she needs a new home. Her old owner was a fantasy book author, and she adored her horses- so much that she included them in her stories! That's why she dressed her horses in unusual, rare-looking fantasy tack! So, in order to win this gal, tell me about the character she inspired in one of her books. Was she a knight's steed? A princess's friend? Or was she the basis for something like a unicorn or pegasus? You decide! You can write an excerpt from the "book", write the basic plot and explain where she comes in, or just tell me about her and her character. It can be however long or short that you wish, but grammar and being detailed is important- my favorite one wins!

The legend is that the Willow Field War took place in a huge field surrounded by willow trees. Very few people knew about the war, and kept it secret because of the rubies that fell from the majestic willow trees. The field was only hard ground when the war started; it was between light magic and dark magic. After a long battle the good magic won, But then a beautiful mare appeared. It was their god, Song. The good fairies formed a circle around her kneeling respectfully while weeping as they knew they did wrong. she was not pleased, as they had used their magic for killing, so she punished them by turning them into big weeping trees, that dropped tears of rubies representing the blood they spilled. long grass grew over the dead bodies and it became a beautiful sight. Many years later, a beautiful girl was exploring the dark woods on her horse as she saw a flash of light out of the corner of her eye. As she took a second glace she saw a beautiful greying horse. The girl pulled her horse to a halt and walked up to the old mare. Song turned heading to an opening as the girl followed. They entered the beautiful field and Song turned to face the girl. She sent the girl an image of the field darkening and undead dark magic fairies rising and killing the villages,feeding on them, making them stronger. The girl stared into the horses scared eyes and asked "How can I stop this?" Song sent the girl an image of a ruby in her hand, and then it turned into blood and fell from her hand sinking into the ground. Then an image of people coming and taking the rubies. "How do I find these People?" asked the girl. The last image she sent the girl was her riding upon the mares back, crossing large amounts of land retrieving the stolen rubies. They set off, hoping to return the dark magic blood before they take revenge and walk on the earth once again, feeding on death and darkness.
