This mare's design is simple, but she comes with a bit of a story and personality already made!

Her cutie mark is a quill (roughly) bent in the shape of half a heart, representing her skill in writing about love... specifically, tragic and/or unrequited love. She feels things very deeply, and... well, see, she hasn't been able to write much lately; it's almost as if she's become stuck in one of her own stories-- she's very deeply in love with another pony, but for whatever reason, their relationship just cannot be...

Age: About 20 in human years
History & Relationship: Milly started out as one of the most popular fillies at school. She wasn't the kind that treated everypony like dirt, but the kind that everypony loved, and she loved everpony back. Everypony called her 'Lovebug' or 'Aphrodite' due to the fact she loved to help other ponies find their love. She helped nearly everypony in school find their love. Everypony believed she would have a heart as a cutie mark. Then, one of the rude fillys pointed out Milly was the only pony at school with no love. A lot of ponies caught along and teased her for being loveless. After that, nopony saw her at school. She had locked herself in her room with nothing but paper, quills, ink, and a light. Her parents and brother tried as best they could to get her out of the room with no avail. Now, she rarely leaves that same room, and continues writing her stories, and falling in love with her own characters. It broke her heart to move along with each story, giving her the name 'Milly Heartbreak' Lately, Milly has been venturing out of her room a little more to watch for her crush, a colt named Sharp Saber, who had come to her school not long after she dropped out. Now, she's trapped in her own tragic love story where she would never get the pony to be hers. Her old classmates still tease her whenever they see her, saying that Saber would never be hers and saying that Saber would never think of talking with her.

Actually, I have another reason I want this pony, as well. The reason? She reminds me of how I feel, abandoned and left in her room to break her own heart with her story characters and her paper and quills as friends.

History & Relationship:

Half Heart is a pony whose head is filled with daydreams and wishes. She could stay out all night on her tiny balcony and look up at the stars writing with the pure inspiration she would get from the twinkling stars.

When she was a young filly she had a childhood friend. A colt who stole her heart and her thoughts. When she was in school she wouldn't focus on the studies and words being spoken around her- but more on this colts movements and unawareness of her fixated eyes onto him.

Her heart purely belonged to him. Not halfway, but fully. She would spend countless nights watching the stars with him in the meadows.

However his heart belonged to another. It always did. He never had the courage to tell this mare but he was madly in love with her. One night when Heart was star watching with him, he began speaking to her about the mare he liked.

This was not new to Heart. She knew he had feelings for this mare as he spoke about his feelings of her often.

However on this very night, he told her that he was "in love" with her.

Her heart began to break into tiny pieces- like it had been smashed with a hammer.

That night she put on her best smile for him and said she had to be back home. When she got home she cried for hours on end. She picked up a pen and wrote and wrote.
Poetry, stories.
All tragic love stories.
All stories that represented the pain she was feeling so pure.

That night she finally got her cutiemark after so long. One side of a heart.

And how fitting that cutiemark was.

After all...

Half a heart can not be complete without the other.
