Art~ (story) i woke up under the dark tarp that sheltered me from the harsh desert. i step out and looked over the edge of the sand dune as the sun started to rise . the light was so blinding and i could barely see anything. a dark shadow ran in front of a dune the sun was peeking up behind. it was running toward me as i started walking for the pool of water created by the last monsoon. it was a great and powerful creature that was strong and beautiful one of the rare desert beauties that hasnt been destroyed by the mining and building going on around. i coaxed it toward me and ran my hands through its thick silky fur. it lay down on the ground and rolled onto its stomach wanting a belly rub. i laughed as i stood up after rubbing its stomach for a while, and started to walk back toward my tent. i look back to see that it had followed me and walked into the tent with the Desert Beauty close behind.
