Nimlet Nursery
Rules for Breeding
Rules for Breeding
- There are four seasons, each spanning over a week, and start fresh at the beginning of every month, starting with Spring.
- Nimlets can breed (you can submit a breeding request) only during Spring and Summer, and only once per breeding season.
- Nimlets can breed a total of four times, but of course you can choose to breed them only one, two or three of those times.
- Couples must have been mates for one week before they can breed, but then you can submit your request any time.
- Nimlets breed for life. There are no exceptions to this. Special situations will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
- There is no "open" or "closed" system, just submit your request and I'll get around to it whenever I have the time.
- The babies will inherit either their mother or fathers coloring, or, should the colors blend well enough, a mixture of them.
- The markings will be similar but not completely. It's not impossible for random markings to come out of their gene pool.
- The chance of having twins is just slightly higher than the chance of having only one fawn, and the chance of having triplets is the rarest.
For starts, please refer to the last two sections of this post for in depth breeding and aging information, though I'll also go over the basics briefly in this post. Please read all of the information so everything will run smoothly! (:
This isn't only a nursery but also where you'll find baby, child and teenager Nimlets up for adoption, so should anybody be interested in finding a fawn over an adult, you're in the right place. The adoption rules will be the same as on the main lines, just follow the directions on each individual Nimlets page and remember the rules and guidelines on the main post. And again, enjoy!
You will have the ability to keep your fawn or put it up for adoption, and also give it away to another user if you should desire to do so. Just remember, when giving away a fawn, you must message me with the user's name, the user must know the rules of owning a Nimlet, and also the user must give the fawn a name for archiving purposes. Otherwise, it's your character to do as you please.
