Jewel is a sweet mare, and loves children. She has never once kicked out, and she most likely never will. She is always cheerful, and puts everyone in a good mood.
Short story:
Jewel stood in her stall, patiently awaiting her morning hay and ration of grain. After she was fed, and then sun was well over the horizon, she was led out of her stall and clipped into the lower cross-ties, so they could reach her halter. Her owner, Ms. Renne, crouched down to her head. "We hav a very special patient for you today. Her name is Lilly, and she's 3. Now I wan't for you to take extra good care of her, because she can't walk.", She told Jewel, almost in a whisper. Jewel snorted, seemingly understanding. After Jewel was all tacked up, Lilly arrived with her mom. Lilly was in a wheel chair, and smiled when she saw Jewel. Ms. Renne kneeled down to tell Lilly about Jewel. "I've got a very special pony for you today. This is Jewel, my best pony. She will take care of you". Jewel was led out to the ring, where Lilly was setteled in the saddle. Ms. Renne slowly started leading them around the ring, with her on one side, and Lilly's mom on the other. "So, what's you favorite animal?", Ms. Renne asked. Lilly smiled and said, "Pony", and leaned over and hugged Jewel's fuzzy neck. Ms. Renne smiled. "What's you favorite color?", Ms. Renne asked. "Pink!", She said excitedly. Ms. Renne smiled, and finished their ride around the ring. When Jewel was all untacked, and Lilly was back in her wheel chair, she grabbed something out of her little backpack. It was a pink bow. "This is for Jewel", She said reaching up to hand it to Ms. Renne. "Why thankyou! I'm sure Jewel will love it". Ms. Renne walked around the Jewel's tail, and put the bow in. Lilly smiled and clapped her hands. After that, Jewel always wore the bow when she had a patient.

Her owner fought hard and was on chemo.Just before Cali's owner had beat the fight against cancer a pink bow was put in her tail in support of the child as was requested by the child. The bow was pink because that is the child's favourite color.

Personality: She is very sweet and she loves everyone. She can hold a grudge if she has a good reason for it. She has always been very cheerful and whenever horses and people interact with her they always brighten up!
Short story: Saphire was born in the wild. When Saphire was 1 she witnessed her mother's death and ever since then she has had a grudge against Gru, the horse who killed her mother. The bow she wears on her tail was her mothers. She always wears it and she never takes it off no matter what. It is her only connection to her family. When she was 2 after traveling for a year she found a ranch and met a horse named Kylie. Kylie told her all about Cherry Tree Stables, and she decided to stay since after all she was a Shetland Pony!
