My Personality:
By username by me
Bashful:River is a shy little JMD, the most shy of his litter. He doesn't much like speaking in public due to a fear of being judged and mocked, and will never speak in public unless he was spoken to first. He hates how horribly shy he is and always tells himself at the start of the day that he will be more brave, but it often doesn't work so well.
Strong:Aside from speaking in public, River is very courageous when it comes to challenges given to him, such as walking on a thin branch in a tall tree or putting out a small fire.
Daring:His courage often makes him reckless; he never really focuses on what could happen to him and just does on impulse, and this often gets him in trouble. But he doesn't mind. It's all in good fun.
Aloof:Being male, and a child, River often isn't too serious. He lives for the fun of things and doesn't mind getting into trouble every now and then. He often doesn't think of the consequences that his actions could have. Such as touching something hot could burn him, or eating colorful berries could made him sick.
Gentle and HonestThough he's a bit of a trouble-maker, River is honest and good-natured. He wouldn't turn down anyone in need, no matter what they needed. Most value his honesty and this keeps him out of trouble, or at least out of the trouble he would be in if he'd lied and made a whole big mess out of everything.

My Story:
River sat on the cliff side watching the sun go down, his eyes half closed, tail swaying behind him. It'd been a slow day that day, boring. He was kinda sleepy. Standing up, the young dragon beat his wings, stretching them. Darkness consumed the area around him. It was getting late.
"Hey! River!"
His sister was calling him. His ears twitched and he turned away from the cliff, smiling as Ricky and his brother Radio trotted up to him.
"Hey guys. Do you need something?" He asked them softly, taking note of Radio's worried expression. His brows furrowed.
"Our parents are gone!" Ricky told him urgently, her paws shifting on the ground. He let out a whimper. "Gone? How do you know for sure? Maybe they're out hunting."
She shook her head. "The others said they haven't seen them since last night! They wouldn't have been gone that long, right?" His ears lowered fearfully as he pondered. "Mm..You guys stay here. I'll have a look around."
River scampered off into the forest behind him, sniffing every single rock and bush around him, searching desperately for his parents' scents. He couldn't find anything anywhere. Not a single trace! Just when he was about to give up, he came across a few droplets of blood on the ground. His brows furrowed. What was this? A trail? But where did it lead? Deciding not to tell his siblings, he began to follow.
River followed the trail for the longest time, finding his way out of the forest to fields of farmland. Never before had he been in a place like this, so open and vulnerable. Feeling his fur begin to prickle, he shook his head and picked up the pace. His own safety wasn't important right now. He had to find his parents.
He eventually returned to a forested area, sort of, and found that the trail had stopped in the center of a clearing. His ears flattened and he looked around carefully, eyes narrowed. That was..weird.. How could it have just stopped? Hearing the snap of a twig, he rounded on it and bared his teeth in a snarl, beginning to get afraid. If his parents were hurt, who knows what would happen to him!
Two sets of red eyes lit up from the darkest part of the thicket. The rustling of bushes reached River's ears, getting louder and louder as the shapes grew nearer. He flattened his ears as two large dogs, greater in size than him by far, slunk from the shadows, their jowls frothing with saliva and blood. One of them let out a grumbling roar and they began racing toward him. River's jewel flashed with fear and he ran for his life, beating his wings violently. "Help! HELP!" He wailed, rushing up a tall tree and hanging on a branch for his life. The dogs clawed at the tree, barking and frothing wildly, trying to bite his legs clinging to the branch. He clung there in terror, his mind racing, trying very very hard to think of how to escape, and save his parents, wherever they may be.
An idea suddenly sprang into his mind. His jewel lit up brightly, blindingly, as he jumped from the tree. He landed on one of the dogs, slashing it with his claws, making loud dragon sounds. The dog under him yowled in agony as his claws ripped the skin. Once he let go, the dogs ran, yelping and wailing. Sighing, he sat on the soft grass, catching his breath. He wobbled to his feet after some time and went into the thicket, calling for his parents. A box with air holes sat in the bushes, not very well hidden, and he heard his parents voices coming from it.
He did it. He found them.

A Poem For Me:
I sit upon this hollowed ground
Head held high and proud
Facing my fears right in the face
Staring at the croud
I sit and stare
And wonder where
I may end up from here
I'll try my best
And face this test
No matter what I fear
'Cuz I'm a brave little JMD
I'll never give up once
I'm strong and proud
And hopeful now
No one can bring me down ^^

About My Family:
Ricky:

Ricky? She's kind of...talkitive. I could never talk as much as she does. I don't have the courage. But she's my sister and I love her like my sister. Honestly, I do wish she'd be quiet every now and then. Don't tell her I said that .__. Overall, I think she's a great sister, and a fun person to play with. Talking about her makes me want to challenge her to a dare. Be right back >3 -scuttles off- Hey Riiickyyyyy...

Radio:
Radio is very quiet. Okay, more than that. He never says a word. Ever o_o. I don't even think he uttered a sound when he was born. I don't think I could be quite as quiet as him, either. What if someone asked me a question that didn't have a yes or no answer? What then? But as quiet as he is, it's easy to get along with him, and figure out what he wants by his facial expressions. I guess his silence isn't all that bad, once you get to know him.
My Fears:Large crowds
Attention in public
Drowning
Being without his teddy bear
Snapping turtles (Don't ask)
Being completely alone on a pitch black night
Heights
My CrushesNone yet.

My Nicknames:
River
Ross
My Accessories:
Blue scarf
Teddy bear (sometimes. It's kind of a baby thing...)
My Strengths:
He's very agile and a smooth talker. Once he sets his mind to something he can get what he wants. He's also thin and quite quick, able to fit himself into tight spaces with ease.
My Weaknesses:
He has a very small voice which makes him seem weak. Getting up in front of crowds makes him nervous and often he gets claustrophobic.
Being in heights makes him freeze up. He won't be able to move, nor get down. It would take someone extremely skilled to coax him.
