I do love Reverie, but she just doesn't express me the way I really am.
She's more... she's more the way I am, and the way I act, on the Internet.
This girl is based much more on what I actually look like. P:
So, opinions?
I will be adding accessories to this girl, just not sure what.
I'm thinking probably something lacy or flowery.
Added some accessories to her, do you guys think I should get rid of the hair bow, though?
And any additional ideas for accessories?
And I do need name help, as well.
I'm leaning towards Velvet Crisp, but what do you think?
Character Name: ??? Crisp
Age: Adult (19 in human years)
Gender: Mare
Species: Unicorn
Job: Interior Designer
Special Talent: Crisp discovered her talent later in life, as she had talents in many areas. There were many things she enjoyed, and she still does, that kept her from discovering her true self. After many years of being an adult blank flank, Crisp stumbled upon her true talent, and gained her cutie mark. Crisp's talent is, in fact, finding antiques and decorating with them. She's got a passion for interior design, and excels at discovering dusty antiques to clean and incorporate into her rooms.
Personality: Crisp is a relatively quiet mare who to some seems to be snooty. Her shyness around strangers, along with her talent for design, make it easy for other to assume that her lack of social interaction means that she is, in fact, snooty. This couldn't be farther from the truth, of course, but is a common misconception. Until she spends a lot of time with another pony, and discovers areas of similar interest, she is nearly silent, only speaking when necessary. After becoming comfortable with another pony, though, her personality is drastically changed, and she becomes a friendly and somewhat loud mare.
When she is indeed friendly with another pony, she is much more open with her speaking, and frequently contributes to conversations. Her sense of humor is a bit dry and sarcastic, and she's always quick to catch onto a joke. She prides herself on her ability to be a good friend to anypony, though of course more-so with those she is close with. She is always happy to lend an ear, and a shoulder, and does not expect anything in return. This, however, is not completely the truth. Though she never asks for anything in return, she believes that her friends should be willing to listen to her, and cheer her up, should she be unhappy. This is not always the case, as she has a tendency to hide her true emotions well, and as a result is often bitter towards the friends she strives so hard to help.
Aside from her friendship and humor, Crisp is a generally calm pony, who greatly enjoys spending time alone. Were it not for her friends urging, as well as her career, she would very likely become a hermit. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, and drawing, expressing talent in each, but passion and devotion to none. It is because of her somewhat lazy and lax motivation that Crisp never developed a talent for any of these. Interior design, though certainly an art that requires practice and work, does not require as much detailed work, and is much more enjoyable for Crisp. When a friend expects something of her, or a customer sets a deadline, Crisp strives and always achieves the requirements, normally ahead of time if not on time. When it comes to personal matters, she is unmotivated, but where others are concerned she devotes one-hundred and ten percent to her work.
History: Crisp grew up in a traditional family; a mother, father, and a younger sister. She excelled in school, and was often praised for her talent in art. As a foal, she was a ham, always craving the positive attention of her peers and elders. Unlike some of the other children who's desire for attention would drive them to misbehave, Crisp made an effort to always behave. To do this, she spent her free time reading and drawing, bettering her vocabulary and artistic abilities. Her favorite books were always fantasy novels, as they allowed her to escape her own world into a world that could be molded into her own image. Her constant good behavior, matched with her talent in school, brought her much positive attention. This attention, however, brought ridicule from her peers and sister. It was years of this that taught her to be hesitant to open up, and is why she guards herself and is so shy around strangers. These years were also what made her strive to become the ultimate friend, and it was this desire that eventually caused her to be bitter to those who did not meet her standards of what a friend should be.
